AMAZON....REFRESH

Don’t you feel when you’re heading into Spring that it’s time for a refresh in lots of aspects of your life? One thing I’m refreshing is areas of the home. So, linking up some goodness and best sellers on Amazon with the popular Prime link of this week with the dear Tanya.

1. ICE CUBE TRAYS w/LIDS

Why didn’t anyone ever think of lids for Ice Cube Trays before? Here is the reason I wanted these, we have been putting this broth I get from the pet store on Stella‘s food. Well she’s so small and takes so little that it isn’t used up within 10 days so I have been freezing it in the silicone trays so it doesn’t go bad these hold thd perfect amount that she needs fits in each little cube.

2. PAMPAS GRASS

This Pampas Grass is all the rage! I had gotten some in a darker color but I wanted this light color for a champagne vase in our entryway. It comes packaged really nice and all you have to do is fluff it out.

3. CONAIR CURLING IRON

I have been using this Conair Curling iron for years and since it’s so inexpensive, when it starts getting yucky, I just buy a new one. Amazon has the best price for it and I love the heat settings as well as the size of the barrel, you cannot beat this curling iron for the price

4. WHITE VASE

I bring fresh flowers in the house a lot and my favorite countertop vase had broken. I was wanting a new one for our kitchen table instead of the tiered tray and I found the Perfect White one on Amazon. It’s a little bit of an elevated basic and made so nice and I love the size, it also comes in a smaller size as well.

5. SLIDE OUT ORGANIZER BINS

I love that these two storage bins slide out. They are the #1 best sellers in Bathroom Trays, Holders and organizers organization on Amazon.

6. FLICKER IN THE DARK

I had heard this Book was amazing so I bought it for my mom to read and she really enjoyed it, I plan on reading it soon.

7. TOILET BRUSH/PLUNGER in ONE
How perfect is this to have both these things right together in the nicest holder. I’ve been needing a new brush so might as well get a new plunger too.

8. TIERED ORGANIZER

SPICES/PANTRY/CABINET

I got one of these Tiered Organizers for my pantry for canned goods and I absolutely love it! How brilliant to have one for spices and it’s under $9 and comes in several colors.

9. BEST SELLING TOP
Sharing this Fabulous Top again. I shared a peach colored one on my blog Last Wednesday but with the array of colors (TONS), I wanted you to see some of them as it is the number one best seller in women’s tops. I just love the sleeves. AND Like $20!!

AND IT COMES IN A  Short Sleeve Version!!
SOOOOO Many Colors

FRIDAY FAVORITES...FRIENDS

The friend’s fun started out last Friday night which I’ll share more below. It was such a great few days to see beloved friends and get my tooth fixed with no problems! BUT the up-and-down weather roller coaster can definitely go bye-bye. Come on Spring. And I'm having lunch with another friend today because I am focusing more on Friends, Family and Miss Stella and less on Social Media! And come on favorites..its chock-full today!

1. Flute and Friends Recital
When we influencers got together in September, we decided that no matter what, we were attending the magnificent recital on February 18th for our friend Kathrine of the Kathrine Eldridge Blog. She is what I call a master flutist and she combined beautiful poetry readings, some flute duets, and a piano accompanist for the loveliest recital. Before the recital, Jill, Caroline and I had dinner at an amazing restaurant in Westbrook called Antico Posto. Everything was delicious especially the roasted Brussels sprouts with honey lemon ricotta and my fabulous Eggplant Parmesan.

Laura joined us at the concert and afterwards we all went back to Kathrine's to enjoy the Bourbon Lounge that she and her husband created in their basement at the beginning of the pandemic. Super fun night. LOVE these genuine ladies!

2. Kellyann & The Cake Bake Shop

On Monday I got to have a day with one of my besties down in the middle part of the state. Carmel Indiana is where Mr. Nine’s sister and family also happen to live. The minute Kellyann told me that she was coming to Indiana for her son’s college volleyball tournament, there was no stopping me to make sure I got a day with her. I literally could do an entire post on our day together. Kellyann was  one of my first fellow bloggers I made a connection with and although we talk on Marco Polo, I have missed traveling with her. I got to meet her darling husband Brian and he snapped a photo of us in the hotel lobby. Brian was so sweet to encourage our day together.

It worked out just perfectly and we were so blessed to get the last two countertop seats at the infamous and exclusive Cake Bake Shop. I literally tried for 2 weeks to get us a reservation to no avail so it was as if those 2 seats were saved just for us.

It was magical and enchanting an even more fun since we were day drinking the most glorious cocktails you’ve ever seen! Had Melted Fontina Cheese on Bread and scrumptious Carrot Cake selected for us by our counter Bartender.

AND Of course we got a photo in the Swan.

The decor was still sparking Christmas But they were switching over to Spring Floras when we were leaving so we got a shot on a swing

Of course, the afternoon included lots of shopping. We fell in love with a little boutique there called AH Collection and Kellyann and I each got a jacket and some goodies. The day ended with coffee, but it was not even possible that it was time for me to go home; the time flew by in the blink of an eye but when you’re with good friends and you haven’t seen each other in two years, that’s kind of how it goes. No way are we waiting this long to see each other the next time. LOVE HER!! Check out here amazing Blog Here!

Express has had some incredible sales and it’s a favorite place for me to get blazers. The DRESS I wore last Friday night in the magnificent leopard print was from express and I just love it. Not to mention a BLAZER I’m sharing here as well. More from Express on Wednesday.

The back of this one is such a winner with a sweet little tie! It’s going to be one of those dresses you can wear with boots now or take right into the summer with sandals or even little sneakers.

Last up, what a fun waffle weave Top! It’s not your plain waffle weave, the sleeves have the intricate lace detailing that makes this so fun! I Dressed it down here with the distressed jeans and sneakers, but it would look super cute dressed up as well.

AIR FRYER SIRLOIN STRIPS

Gosh it’s been a while since I’ve shared a recipe but this one has been a huge hit not only with our family but with many of you after I shared it on social media that I decided to document it on the blog as well. We do not eat a lot of red meat but when we do, we make it as yummy as possible! Not only are these little strips delicious but this is so easy especially because it can be made in my beloved air fryer!

The garlic butter sauce, at just three ingredients, adds the perfect savory goodness to these tender and delightful steak strips!

What you'll need

Air Fryer Sirloin Strips

*1lb Sirloin Strips

*1 Tbsp Olive Oil

*2 Tbsp brown sugar

*1 tsp garlic powder

*1 tsp onion powder

*1 tsp salt

*1 tsp pepper

Mix all with the strips and cook in heated air fryer at

400 degrees for 8-10 min, even less if you like more rare.

Butter Sauce

*3 Tbsp butter, melted

*1 tsp garlic powder

*1 Tbsp parsley

Make while steak strips are cooking to pour over.

On this particular night and I took the photos, I made cauliflower mash and roasted brussels sprouts with it and it was absolutely delicious!

I'm on the road today to the middle of the state to see one of my closest friends who is coming to Indiana for the first time ever and I am so excited!! Stay tuned to see who it is....I’ll be in a rental though because my car is FINALLY getting fixed! Body Shops are backed up like crazy.

Have a great start to your week and you just might see us on Instagram
