Perfect timing, Fabulous Fall. With temps hovering around 90 all week and crazy humidity, I wasn’t sure Miss Autumn was going to make it in time but whew, she is blasting us with 70 tomorrow so it’s ON!! Today the pumpkins and mums are going out, the front porch is getting decorated and I am making a new pumpkin treat. Plus, the football game tonight is at my favorite "away" school because they grill burgers on dozens of grills the dads bring in to sell, so dinner is under the Friday Night Lights and I'm tickled, lol!
1. Fall Find: Pink Velvet Pumpkin
BUY HERE
Monday, I showed you Part 1 of my Glam Space. Well, this velvet sparkly gem resides in that area and I love this pumpkin so much. The minute I saw it in Pier 1, I knew I’d be taking it home. And now it is under $20. The perfect girly pumpkin!

2. Fall Food
So, I didn’t really have much this week so let’s talk food. Yummy food tends to taste just a little bit better in the Fall. Tis week I had a couple finds and am sharing my morning breakfast that I repeated 3 days in a row. And a sneak peek at an upcoming Tasty Tuesday recipe.
This was the yummy breakfast. While wheat English muffin with local Sugar free Apple Butter, plump blackberry and a small Nosa Pumpkin Yogurt with 3 crunched up pecans added.
Last year, I did the Rate the Pumpkin Spice Treats post and I told you about a couple pumpkin cereals (I LOVE the Pumpkin Special K). Was super excited to see Pumpkin Frosted Flakes. VERY GOOD.
4/5 Pumpkin Rating
And Coming Soon: Butternut Squash, Sausage and Penne pasta Skillet. So Yummy!!

Daisy...PSL Dog Treats
I cant stress it enough...BE KIND!
I was checking out at Target with a sweet lady who recognizes me by my frequent visits (LOL) and as I was paying, she turned around grabbed this reusable bag and said “Here, we are giving these to people we choose today.” It was filled with little goodies and coupons and I thought How Kind! It made my day just like I knew she did so many others. Just a simple, sweet gesture. I continued my errands by opening doors for people, helping a lady get something off a high shelf, complimenting people, etc…just the little things…all it takes to create smiles and give joy!
Go Have one super happy weekend and LOVE on one another with kind hearts!
Daisy...PSL Dog Treats
Our sweet Daisy got a good vet report this week. I was worried about some issues she had but it turns out just natural aging process for the almost 14-year-old girl. We celebrated with these amazing seasonal dog treats. Pumpkin Spice Latte Mutt Mallows. (2.99 TJ MAXX) wanted to eat one, but I didn't, lol!

ReplyDeleteSarah at MeetTheShaneyfelts
Girl, the dads at our school do the Friday Night burger thing, too, and they are SO darn good! However, it's just too dang HOT for football right now! Our JV team played Tuesday night and it was 100 degrees!! Those poor babies!! So looks like I will have to wait until later in the season for my burger because this Mama ain't got a player or cheerleader in the fight, so Wayne and I are going out while Alise sweat it off with her friends at the game! So, I guess in other words, send us some dang cooler weather!! LOL! Have a WONDERFUL weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOoo I need to pick up some apple butter, it's so good in the fall for some reason! I love that hat on you!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet about the bag from Target! Happy weekend and fall to you!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE your new camo sweatshirt from Aerie!! So cute!! I can't believe there are pumpkin spice dog treats! (Though I have heard about feeding canned pumpkin to dogs to help with some digestive issues I think?) Off to check out your "rate the pumpkin spice" post!!

You're always looking so cute in your day to day outfits!! You're inspiring me to look for something new in camo. That pumpkin is so you. I hope your temps cool down a bit to bring some fall weather your way!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that light color camo - reminds me of a mix of camo & a giraffe print
ReplyDeleteIt's always so cute to me when people who live in warmer climates consider 70 degrees fall weather, that is a typical summer day here in Wisconsin. Today it will be 58, though, temps will go back up to 70 over the weekend, then back in the 50-60s for the week. Love all your outfits, especially that white top.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, you just have the sweetest spirit! I love how you spread joy and light everywhere - from the blog to real life. I know your posts and comments always brighten my day! I can't wait to see all your fall recipes, and I love following your fall fashion. Girl, you are effortlessly chic! Happy weekend, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteGreat news about little Daisy - and what fun fall treats! Enjoy your Friday Night Lights evening - grilled burgers sound delicious - and so much fun!

ReplyDeleteYay for crisp Fall weather - I was in London a couple weeks back and its already starting to get chilly there.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it has still been so hot here. We so enjoyed the cooler temps while in MI cleaning out the house. So ready for fall weather. And, what a sweet gesture.
ReplyDeleteI got one of those Target bags too! I'm sure it didn't hurt that I was there 3 times this week (growing boys NEED to come with me when I'm buying clothes; that was the lesson learned this week). I love that velvet pumpkin and I almost just bought a box of those pumpkin spice frosted flakes when I was at.. you guess it, Target today!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could get excited about autumn but I see it as nature's amuse bouche handed around before the cold damp and dreary main course. Thank goodness I have you, your colourful outfits and your pumpkin spice and all things nice to make these coming weeks f u n and colourful! Hugs special lady, x.
ReplyDeleteI love the image of that bird flying around the world "seeking the successive autumns!" And I'm watching my butternut squash eagerly, anticipating their yummy and beautiful harvest!

I just got a camo sweater in the mail, but I wasn't sold on it. I much prefer the oversized cozy look of the ones you shared! I may go for that instead. I'm so excited for fall and fall food - it's supposed to be 60 here today so I pulled out the crock pot for a little chicken chili!!
