FRIDAY FAVORITES...SPRING HAS SPRUNG

It was a fun little week around here and while the weather is it going to be as lovely as last weekend, (SNOW) it will be a relaxing one, nonetheless. Let’s get to some sweet spring Friday favorites!

1. Spring Shoes
Leela and Lavender

I’m so excited to be working with Leela and Lavender and this is my first item from them and I’m over the moon. I had been wanting these Dolce Vita braided heels for a while to wear with everything from dresses to jeans to short just to jazz up the pieces a little bit when I wanted to be dressier than with flat sandals or sneakers. AND how fitting these are called the "Stella!" I’ve heard how comfortable these are and they are indeed! And the great news is I have a code for you for 20% off

 for Leela and Lavender's website!

ANDREA1

I’m telling you, they have so many cute pieces and I’ve been so lucky to find darling boutiques lately like the one I shared with you on Wednesday.

Oka B

Made in the good ole USA, Buford, Georgia, Oka B sandals are the exact shoes you want. This is a 3-generation family-owned business and currently ran by the darling Sara. They are completely sustainable, and you can even send your gently worn shoes back and they will recycle them! Bless their hearts, they even sent my mom a pair. She got the black and pearl Bette's just like I did. We can’t wait to put outfits with them! Water resistant, these are the perfect pool, beach, and summer styling sandals! Look at that pretty Pink Color and sweet navy with bandana bows!

2. Sneak Peek...
SPRING ON THE PORCH

Just a sneak peek because I’ve never done Easter porch before. Can you believe it? There will be an entire post coming but I had to rave about these Bows. I got them on Amazon, and they came perfectly intact and are cheaper than if I would buy all the rules of ribbon. I did two of these lanterns and I love them with the little Easter eggs inside. Those are just from Walmart. Full Easter Porch post coming soon....

3. Spring Tops
Avara

Speaking of that boutique above, Shop Avara, here is the Mabli Top again that I shared on Wednesday.

I just started a little bit differently here with a hot pink pair of braided sandals and my beloved Meg Jeans from Evereve.

These are literally the softest jeans ever!

Gingham

Now for a couple little gingham numbers

Will you look at this Coral Gingham! The sleeves are so cute and this is from "The Get" line at Walmart. $22 and oh so adorable! Several of you bought this after seeing it on my Instagram and said you love it!

And this gingham cutie is from Madewell And let’s just say I love how it’s "made," lol, pun intended! The slit on the sides of This Top

and the cute baby doll vibe and

will keep you loving this lightweight top all spring and summer long. Of course, these tops look great with the front tuck and with shorts as well.

4. Stella Shenanigans
Oh this girl keeps us on our toes in the most sweet way!
Trash
This may have been her best accomplishment yet, almost taking out the trash. It’s just that she was going the wrong way, lol!

Mesh
So, this role of mesh that Miss STELLA grabbed was to help decorate my Easter porch along with the lanterns you saw above. These rolls of mesh were sitting on the sixth step up on our stairway mind you and that’s the farthest she had gone up then this far, little stinker

Glasses

Stella must know mommy needs some help with her vision. She brought me daddy’s reading glasses the other day, LOL!

EASTER TIERED TRAY

Easter is NOT Canceled! 🐰 We will still celebrate the Lord’s resurrection! Even though our gatherings may be small and even though you might be having chicken or beef instead of ham, nonetheless, we must rejoice, and I am rejoicing to be able to show you my Easter tiered tray! You know I love these things and with Pink Bunny Ears, well, it’s a given I’M IN LOVE!

I couldn’t resist ordering another book stack from my dear friends at the Etsy store LacyBelles! They add much cuteness as do all the cute little marshmallow mug knit hats that I find on Etsy! I will link all the precious little items up that I can and if you don’t have a tiered tray yet, I truly encourage you to have one shipped to you because it might bring you joy during the scary homebound time!

Click HERE for the tiered tray I did for Easter last year. You'll have to tell me which one you like best.

So tell me, what are some ideas you’re going to do for Easter? Will it just be a regular meal? Will you hide eggs at your home? Have you been able to find Easter supplies? Will you watch a remote church service via Skype or the Internet?

I FOUND MY EASTER DRESS

Signal SUNSHINE!!! A yellow dress as beautiful as this has to signal the start of spring, right? It’s coming it’s coming, and I think I might be lucky enough to have already found my Easter dress! Easter is not until April 12 this year but it’s never too early to shop spring dresses!

Here’s what you’re really not going to believe. I got this dress from Nordstrom Rack. I rarely shop Nordstrom Rack, but let me tell you, what I have got from there is premium quality pieces/like 70 to 80% off! You guys, BIG news, this dress was only $34.97 and is completely stocked in all sizes.

I love the tiers, length and fit! There is lace detailing at the bottom of the sleeves and neckline. Yet, the true star of the show to me, is the GORGEOUS yellow print. I shared this dress in my Instagram stories on Sunday and y’all just loved it. Me too friends, it’s a goodie!

Easter, Weddings, Baby Showers, Brunch, Lovely Dinners...this dress covers Spring occasions in the sweetest way!

EASTER MADE EASY

FLOWERS & FANNIE MAY CHOCOLATE!!!
These two things will make your Easter easy, gorgeous and so very yummy. For me, you cannot go wrong with Flowers and Chocolate. Yes, there is a lot more that goes along with this precious celebration but give me pretty posies and sweet teats and I'm set!!!!

Here are some great and easy Flower Centerpiece ideas that won't cost much.

Come on.... lemons in a jar, perfect. Of course another great use for mason jars.
Love the simplicity and elegance.

My FAV!! Miss Martha Stewart has done it again!! Stick a inexpensive small flower bunch inside a small glass jar or vase. Put that in a larger clear glass container and fill with small hobby store decorative plastic eggs. Hobby Lobby has bags of these for $1.99

I have been seeing decorative take out containers everywhere. Again, great selection at Hobby Stores and I saw stripped ones yesterday at the Dollar tree! At Christmas I like to buy them to package goodies as love the handles to carry the treats. Stick your tulips in a jar or can and just set down in the container. Easy Peasy.

PEEPS you did it! You managed to make me love you. I do not like your taste but as a centerpiece..true admiration!! Look how easy that is. If you are like me you may save old clear food jars thinking, I may use this someday. Well, there you go, all these clear glass vessels coming in handy. Remember flowers in one smaller jar, stick in another and just arrange a row of peeps!!

Last but not least. These glass vases, cups, pitchers, mugs, etc with chalkboard slates on them are everywhere. Simply write something Easter-ish with chalk and throw in the posies. Good to go!

Now, to the Yummo Confections of Fannie May.

I love good chocolate with European brands being my favorite but my Mom and I stumbled upon Fannie May years ago while shopping and fell in love with their milk chocolate vanilla buttercreams.
They are such a rich and decadent treat.

I especially love Fannie May at Easter. They box up cream filled eggs, quadruple the size of the regular cream filled chocolates in adorable packaging and they make the cutest little gifts.

Everything you need to fill baskets or create a dessert tower is beautifully packaged at Fannie May and they will wrap and put together things for you.

Come on, who can resist a Buck Teeth Chocolate Bunny Sucker???
These are a Fannie May Best Seller
