FRIDAY FAVORITES HELLO SPRING

Did Spring get ushered in in Indiana yesterday or was it Winter for another season? Yes, kids on the first day of Spring, we had SNOW! All you can do at this point is just laugh and cherish when the days are beautiful and get cozy when they’re not, lol!

Easter Porch

I really have not been into decorating my porch as much, but since Easter is quite a bit later this year, I had to do a little something after St. Patrick’s Day before I get my flowers planted on the porch. Look at these giant bunnies I got from Michaels. You can also get them at Hobby Lobby. This made for the cutest little front door display. I got out two of my flowerpots. I put some plastic wrap on top of the dirt and then little faux grass mats! Then I shoved dowel rods up the bunnies butts, LOL and down into the dirt they went! The BOWS on the lanterns were a great find from Amazon! Love how all this turned out. More links below pic 2!

Girls

Pop Nine and I got to play with the girls. They were cracking us up, especially when one of them wanted two “hats” (what she calls bows) on her head. So cute! Aren't their watercolor jammies so pretty!

My heart!

They weren't feeling good this week darn it.

French Press

My barista’s name is Mr. Nine, lol! Well, he does not cook or clean, lol this man is so good at making the coffee! He decided instead of our regular drip coffee, he wanted to try a French press and of course, being a man, it needed to be the New Yeti French Press! These things are so cool. We got the smaller one (34oz), but you can’t get them in a 64oz and so many colors. It totally gives the coffee a different taste and we have enjoyed it the past couple weekends. We also got an electric tea kettle with button saying French Press to get the water to the perfect temp.

dibs Beauty Products
Here is a new to me beauty brand that I have fallen in love with. dibs Beauty! The blush and contour sticks called GlowTour Duo make life so much easier I absolutely love it. The Dual Face Brush is one of the best I’ve seen for blending and foundation and the Bronzer Status Stick is such a beautiful golden shade I especially like it on my clavicle.

Outfits
Buttercream Yellow
From what I’m seeing and hearing, buttercup yellow is the color of the season! Look at this cute little top I got; I love the back, and it is an exact and I mean exact free people do at $30 less! I’m going to get two more colors.

Coffee

Wednesday morning had me scared and then had me happy within 20 minutes, lol. I celebrated at a fav coffee shop and the sweet barista there made me the most precious Cinnamon Churro Latte! How CUTE!

Blast from Last
This is a fun one because one of my besties on the far left and I are having dinner tonight and this was taken last summer when her mother-in-law was visiting from Florida. Her MIL just happens to be one of my mom’s besties and her son is one of Mr. Nine‘s besties! Lol! We enjoyed a wonderful brunch at the Tipsy Biscuit

Grand Ole Opry turns 100

If you’re a fan of Country Music, I hope you caught the 100-year celebration of the Opry on NBC. So good. Garth and Trisha singing George Jones and Tammy Wynette’s “Golden Ring” was my favorite! My mom and I were so excited about his and watched together.

Here's to no snow and a
sweet "SPRING" weekend!

FRIDAY FAVORITES SPRING IS GETTING CLOSE

Happy Friday! What is happening in Indiana? 75 degrees predicted today. Mother Nature at her finest until she decides to drop 30 degrees in the next couple days. I swear she’s bipolar, LOL. How nice to enjoy sitting outside this week reading a book, a nice long lunch with a friend, where we stood outside and talked more because it was so beautiful! And you’ll see I the last pic, a walk outside with the girls!! A good week!

Target Sandals

Let’s just say these slide sandals are on TARGET! Super affordable, very on trend, and most importantly for me, comfortable! I love both of these! My toes aren't ready for them yet but I'll get them pretty polished and warm weather shoes ready, lol.

 Posts of the Week
Who am I with three posts this week? In case you missed them, on Monday, I talked to all about our Kentucky Bourbon Trail Trip and on Wednesday I joined the Let’s Look prompt to talk about How I Reset For the Week week ahead on Sundays.

Blast from Last
This past weekend, Mr. Nine and I had a lovely dinner with my mama at a fabulous restaurant in our area. This restaurant opened in October and my mom and I went for her birthday in November. The golden hour had just passed when the waitress snapped this picture, the lighting was perfect
and I just love it.

A Walk with These Girlies
And of course, a humongous favorite is taking a walk in the sunshine with these cuties! Walking with them and their mama talking about sticks, bark, shadows, staying on the sidewalk. It’s crazy how big they are getting and so smart. I said we are having adventures!

Ugh and someone hacked my TikTok account. Changed my phone number so I cannot access my account. I’ve submitted a support ticket, but if you know how to recover an account, let me know.

Got up at 3am to see the blood moon eclipse. Did you see it? Not as spectacular as I’d hoped for, lol.

I do hope you have lots of sweet adventures this weekend my friends!

HERE COMES MR. COTTONTAIL

I know it’s “Here Comes PETER  Cottontail,” but with all this goodness from Mr. Cottontail by Mr. Christmas, all I can think of is that song in my head and Peter hopping down the bunny trail, lol! I have a confession, with St. Patrick’s Day being so close to Easter I haven’t really gotten out my Easter decor. But then this happened: two huge boxes of Easter decor arrived on my porch, and I’m swooning. So much so, I had to share it with you in a dedicated post. My Easter game just got leveled up. This was not my intended post today but after Springing forward, I think we all need this cuteness!

Just wait until you see all this cuteness! Let me start with the beloved, Ceramic Trees! You may remember when I won a contest this past Christmas season and got the ceramic LED nostalgic Christmas tree? Post HERE. Well, look at these three bunny trees as I call them, they are their famous, ceramic trees in pastel colors with bunnies on top that light up as well when you plug it in. They are 13' and perfect as can be!

And will you look the minis? This little Trio of Tress are battery lit with AAA batteries and they are on timers. Look at the little eggs on top. I have them sitting on my mantle now, and they are so cute! They come with little individual gift bags as well.

And oh my goodness, will you look at the tablescape I created with the Mr. Cottontail Set of 4 Scalloped Easter Plates! Aren’t they just the cutest! So vintage looking and so adorable with the chicks and the bunnies! This is just the sweetest little table. I’d like to sit here and have a piece of my

Plate set of 4 HERE// Napkins HERE //Plate Chargers HERE // Similar Bunny Ear Napkin rings HERE

And the lighted figurines are just adorable. These include a set of two Easter cottages just precious us can be, and the Lamb, bunny and chick looking oh so festive! I just adore that all these things are on timers.

3 Set of Lit Figurines HERE

Super Cute Night light too. Here it is unlit and lit up. Darling!

Bonus: I also received a 10-inch ceramic LED shamrock tree, and a trio of battery lit trees that I just adore from their line Mr. Lucky. You bet I am lucky indeed, to receive all this goodness and decorate my home with it.

Trio of Shamrock Trees HERE

As you can see, Mr. Christmas is not just about Christmas. They believe in celebrating all the holidays in the most festive and nostalgic way possible! These are pieces you can pass down from generation to generation. Their products are made of the highest quality and was so much love behind them! This family owned business is 90+ years strong and it shows!

What’s your favorite? Do you decorate for Easter? See my last Easter porch post HERE

Happy New Monday!

I know you might be dragging from the Spring forward! But you can do this!

EASTER FRONT PORCH

Who am I? Can you believe I’ve never done an Easter front porch before? I’ve decorated the inside which ironically, I did not do this year, but never anything on the porch. The primary reason for that is because I like to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day and often Easter is so soon after that it’s just not worth it to do all the decorations for a week or two but this year we had a whole month so I said why the heck not. AND can you believe Easter is THIS coming weekend?!

My vision came to reality so sweetly with the big Spring flowers I found at Hobby Lobby.

And I love the long tulip swag wreath from TJ Maxx! But Kohl’s has one almost identical and so pretty.

And I had had my eye on those BIG CARROTS the minute the Easter stuff sprouted. Let’s face it, it was like January, lol! The Purple Pillow Covers are so luxe and come in several colors. SUPER CUTE with the pom poms too.

Glitter Eggs HERE

I was able to get the mesh in the colors I want it at the dollar store for a dollar a roll and it was perfect. And the mats, both from Amazon, are Darling!!

BUNNY MAT HERE // CHECKERED MAT HERE

I showed you these pretty bows for the lanterns from Amazon and I just love that they were already done up in the perfect color scheme. I man what an easy decoration to throw plastic eggs in a lantern!

So I couldn’t find any fell eggs or any eggs to do the topiaries the way I wanted, I found these fake grass segments at Hobby lobby (Similar HERE) that fit into my planters perfectly. Then on Amazon once again, I found these cool cardboard Easter Decorations that I could put together on wire to stick down in the grass.

I couldn't believe how perfectly that faux grass piece
fit in the planters!

I’ll actually be back tomorrow with a very special blog post!

XoXo
