LUCKY FRONT PORCH

Don’t freeze your Shamrocks!! I almost did revamping the St. Patrick’s Day front porch but I braved the cold and snow just for you and yes, for me, and this festiveness! I was hoping the "snow" would be out of the phots but no such luck.

Y’all know how fast Valentines snuck up on us, so I got right outside and jazzed the front porch to St. Patrick’s Day! And it’s already less than a month away, but I’ll enjoy the green and cuteness all month long!

Such an easy change over. So many more goodies from The Dollar Tree, some simple additions to the lanterns, some Amazon Pillow Covers, Hobby Lobby Cuteness and of course the darling Interchangeable Wreath from my kids with shamrocks in the back of the truck!! The vertical Shamrock Garland works so well on the sidelights. And I just love the Green & White Checkered Ribbon for big bows on there Lanterns.

The topiaries were especially fun to redo. I just took off the hearts, and took out the red glitter twigs, although it was so cold, they were frozen and Mr. Nine had to cut them with clippers for me. I had gone out in our woods and got some twig and spray-painted gold to replace the red.

The table center piece is a Halloween black cauldron filled with Dollar Tree faux St. Patty’s flowers. How cute are the Shamrock Pillow Covers!! And I get so much use out of these Buffalo Plaid Napkins and Rugs! I have 2 of the rugs.

I adore the Tinsel Shamrocks on the windows.

VALENTINE'S FRONT PORCH

To say I’m in “LOVE” with how the Valentines porch turned out is an understatement! I think what I’m most happy about is I did it so frugally as you somewhat know from my post on repurposing holiday Decor to Valentines last Monday.

The Dollar Tree store was really my friend on this, if you have a local Dollar Tree, run there, not only do they have a fabulous selection of Valentines items but St. Patrick’s Day too so of course my mind is swirling with that holiday coming to the porch too, LOL! Purchase deets throughout and at End of post.

But the giant hearts in felt & a nice weight are my favorite! I just tied those onto the rocking chairs, tied them onto the topiaries with fishing line and tied one onto a lantern. They are the best! They also were perfect to stick in the window above the front door. AND oh how much I LOVE the LOVE BANNER!!

The sweet Sherpa Heart Pillows are from Target and only 10 bucks, I’ll use them in my glam office when I’m done with them in the rocking chairs.

Of course you’ve already seen sneaks of the RED TRUCK, all I did was put a flower foam block in the bed of the truck and popped in some faux roses and foam glitter Heart Picks. I also added a couple felt hearts to the front of the truck.

Remember I had the big Christmas balls hanging in front of the porch, well all I did was replace with some glitter foam hearts, also from the Dollar Tree and instead of greenery wreaths on the windows, I did HEART WREATHS. Placed Felt Pink Scalloped that came in a package of 12 in the top of the front windows and on a couple lanterns.

I decided to keep the buffalo plaid as I thought it looked really cute with holiday as well and I was super excited to find some buffalo plaid bows with hearts on them for the Lanterns, the other buffalo plaid bows I just added some felt sticky hearts. The long heart vertical garland is from Amazon and so perfect for the sidelights.

The Etsy store that made the Giant Heart for the front door is one of my favorites! It comes package so beautifully and you can customize it with about any bow choice!

And of course I’ve already shown you my sisal LOVE Doormat which I just adore and looks great on the larger buffalo plaid rug, have been layering my front door mats for years!

Ahh the topiaries. Probably my favorite on the porch!

With 4 Dollar tree hearts add to what I already had,

it only coast $4 to redo!! I had the RED MESH RIBBON for the bases too.

Black Planters I LOVE HERE.

9 DOLLAR TREE FINDS ~ SPRING EDITION

Yep, I’m gonna say it again: Dollar HOLLAR Tree because I found more goodies!!  You guys seem to like these posts. And who wouldn’t love getting good stuff for a buck? I brought you this series At The Holiday's and Last Summer. So here is the Spring version.

Now, not everything is good, some stuff is downright junk. However, the stuff I really like, I find myself going back for more. With the boys coming home last week and starting work, where they both take their lunches, I found a lot of great snacks to throw in their lunch boxes. And of course, I’ve mentioned the Cheddar Whale crackers before as they like them better that Pepperidge Farm Goldfish. Once, my DT even had them in white cheddar. But enough about Whales, let’s get to my recent Dollar Tree haul.

1. Fairy Garden Stuff
I am not a fairy gardener, but this stuff was cute and this one package had the most precious lil owl so I can throw him in a flower pot.

2. Flavored Lip Balms
When I was little I loved flavored lip glosses and balms. Still do! My favorite was a Dr. Pepper one. Not only did it smell and taste like Dr. Pepper, but the lip balm container was in the shape of a glass soda pop Dr. Pepper bottle. Who else remembers longneck soda pop bottles?

3. Plastic Champagne Glasses
6 for $1 and they make the cutest cupcake holder/favors for parties. Aren’t these just adorable?! I’m gonna see what else I can whip up with them besides this and drinking Champs of course, lol.

4. Pretty Boxes
As you all know, I love pretty packaging so I probably squealed when I saw these butterfly boxes. Super cute, some glitter and you have a darling box for your gift or to store stuff in. I gave one of those to my mom yesterday for Mother's Day with some gifts inside.

5. Fancy Cookies
Having a friend over for coffee or tea and no time to bake. How bout some fancy smancy shortbread cookies a fourth of the price as the grocery and super yummy.

6. Candles
Look how cute these candles are. I love the ones that are taller and the ones that say Birthday Girl or Birthday Boy. Very big selection at my DT.

7. Freeze Dried Fruit
If you’re a fan of the strawberry açaí refresher (pink drink) at Starbucks then listen up! It is made with freeze dried strawberries! I had no idea so in wanting to duplicate this drink this summer, but wondering where I could get freeze dried strawberries? Well wonder no longer because DT carries freeze dried fruit and it’s a fraction of the cost of specialty stores.

8. Garage Sale Supplies
I literally am coming off garage sale weekend and is why I wasn’t here for Friday Favorites as my big sale was going on. Signs and stickers can get expensive so super excited to grab some supplies at the Dollar Tree.

9. Vanilla Tootsie Rolls
I’m not a huge fan of regular tootsie rolls. Probably because once, in college, a friend and I ate a whole jar of them! However, gimmie a fresh, soft Vanilla tootsie roll and hold me back from eating them all again! First time I had these was a few years back as Target has just the vanilla but only at the Holidays. When my mom, who loves them too, was wishing for some, I was sooo excited to find them at the Dollar Store that I bought 5 bags.

I like to match my Tootsie's ya know, lol!

SWEET DOLLAR TREE LOVE!!

Dollar Tree Finds..Summer Edition HERE

It’s sad, I have noticed the Late Spring/Summer Blog Slump is already happening, but who can blame anyone for wanting to take time away from devices and enjoy glorious weather! We’ve been cooped up too long and everyone needs some down time!! Blogging will always be here and I will still be posting 3-4 times a week but in case my comments, which I pride myself on and try to be good at, dwindle, it’s because I’m enjoying some sweet Summertime! And I know you will be too so just remember, everyone will be back in full blogging force come Fall. And I love ya all!
