And just like that, June is half over! We got the exciting news that we have been hoping for this week, and it won’t be long until I can share. I sure hope you’ve had a great week! It's been pedal to the metal round here and I'm only at about 60% with this nerve/muscle ordeal. Unfortunately, it’s going to rain around these parts this weekend, but I’ll still celebrate my Mr. Nine and very lucky to still have my daddy here on earth!
Wednesday, the twins and my mom came over for the day. We had a ball and decided to set up a little mini pool outside, despite having a regular pool, but it wasn’t quite the hit that we thought, they were too busy exploring the property, lol. Snapped a couple pictures in the 10 minutes they were in the pool, lol.
Nature
Hummingbird Sitting
Something had been stealing my hummingbird wire, even carried it all the way to our other patio. Mr. Nine put a higher shepherd hook up, I put fresh hummingbird feed in it and as I was watering my flowers that night this little Ruby, throw a guy decided to sit on top of the swing perch I have out there for them. So stinking cute! GET A PERCH or TWO HERE!
New Duck Family
Mr. Nine and I walk at 5:30 AM every morning, we love seeing the nature. This week we are so excited to see you another new duck family with the tiniest little ducklings.
Coon
Trail Camera
So as I mentioned, something had been stealing the hummingbird water I make. Caught him red-handed on the trail camera! Mean ole' COON!
If you don’t have one of these TRAIL CAMERAS, especially if you live near nature, it is a must not only did the raccoon show up, but so did my favorite neighborhood cat and a robin bird right in front of the camera. So cool.
Outfits
Sprinkles Cocktail
I can’t believe I got no pictures from the night but last weekend we went with two other couples to one of our favorite spots in South Bend and they had the cutest sprinkles cocktail on the menu called Caked Up. And I don't even like sprinkles..whaaat?? But it was pure fun and so yummy!

ReplyDeleteI had never heard of a hummingbird perch before; that is a great idea. It also reminds me I need to refill our feeder. Even if that pool time didn't last very long it does look like they had fun.
ReplyDeleteLove all your outfits! May I ask how tall you are? I'm only 5/2" on good day and am having the hardest time finding wide leg pants that don' t overwhelm me
ReplyDeleteCheck the petites sections at the bigger clothing and department stores.
DeleteLove the twins in the pool, even if it wasn't as big a hit as hoped.
ReplyDeleteA raccoon?? At least you didn't run into him ...
