THE BODYSUIT IS BACK

I was such a bodysuit lover back in the late 80s early 90s. I’ll show you a picture of my favorite bodysuit a little bit further down in this post. A few years ago, I wasn’t sure if I could get back into them. You may remember the infamous too short crazy town one I tried on in Forever 21 from this Post. However, they’ve made a lot of strides in the past few years and are finally making them longer, so they are not riding up your butt all day.

I first showed you this black bodysuit (under $20 BTW) when a I did a re-creation a couple weeks ago HERE with the green pleated midi skirt.

Well, I was so in love, I immediately wanted to see what it would look like with jeans. My high waisted Levi’s were perfect with it and so I knew it was a keeper since it could be dressed up or down and was wedgie free!!

  7. You look so great! I don't think I could go back to bodysuits... having been a dancer growing up I lived in leotards and wore bodysuits as part of my cheer uniform! It's been at least 20 years, but still too soon!

  10. I have two body suits. I always call them onzies but now I remember they were always called body suits. Thanks for the reminder. A body suit was the first thing I bought when I lost all my weight. I love not having to tuck my shirt in all day and they make me fill all put together.
Love the blousy ones like your modeling. I must have one like that.

  20. The body suits I remember wearing didn't have much "give" around the waist area to "bunch" the blouse part and that always irked me. I made the awful mistake of wearing one to go out in back in college and after a few drinks, I regretted wearing it for bathroom reasons. But oh, the things that body suit could tell if I still had it!

  21. This is so flattering on you! I mean seriously, where did your waist go? It's so tiny I can't even see it! I've tried a more fitted bodysuit, but nothing like this. It's really cute!
