FRIDAY FAVORITES...BARISTA EDITION

Hello March! It was a calm week before a busy March begins. I did get to have a nice leisurely lunch with a friend on Tuesday. We had a little bit of a warmup this week and I was able to get outside and walk record a Walk and Talk for Instagram Sunday. Stella had her first vet visit yesterday and I nursed her last night after her vaccinations, well, not ACTUALLY nursed, LOL

1. My Little Barista

Oh, my little barista! Took Stella to Starbucks for her first Puppuccino on Saturday and the girls at the drive-through window went crazy for her little Starbucks Apron! Her reactions on Camera were priceless so I was so tickled to put together a little reels video that I shared on Instagram on Monday. I’m so proud of it. It’s like the cutest thing ever. Here are some snapshots of my little hard working girl, LOL!

AUTUMN TAG

Happy Monday Pumpkins!! Hope you had a lovely and relaxing Fall weekend!!

When you love Autumn like a fat kid loves cake, it was a no brainier I had to do this Fall Fun Tag!! Sweet-n-Beautiful Kim See Post HERE did this tag last Monday and it brought all my Autumn loves rolling in like the chill in the air and hues of the leaves!! I couldn't let this glorious season go by without doing this tag!

Favorite thing about Autumn? So so many to mention: Crisp air, crunchy, gorgeous leaves, football, sweet apples and pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins!!

Favorite Autumn drink? Tie for Two: Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice or yes, PSL Baby!!

Favorite Autumn candle? Pumpkin Spiced Cheesecake from Bath & Body

Favorite Autumn snack? Caramel Apple Pops or a Honey-Crisp Apple

Favorite Autumn lipstick? Anything Wine or Plums. MAC "Rebel"

Go to Autumn moisturizer? No brainier for me, it's the glorious Dionis Spiced Pumpkin Goat Milk Lotion! It's a cozy blend of vanilla, cinnamon and powdered sugar and as lovely aromatic as you can get. Everyone says "what's that lovely smell?"

Favorite music this time of year? The Boys of Fall By Kenny Chesney and "They're creepy and they're kooky, Mysterious and spooky, They're all together ooky,The Addams Family."

Favorite Autumn movie? RUDY: Best football movie and a great uplifting story. Plus, nothing like the Notre Dame campus in the Fall!!

Favorite Autumn Attire? Lovely Layers: This comfy outfit here, a light flannel, long cardigan, leggings and boots.

Favorite place to be? Another two way tie: Football Stadium or Northern Lake Michigan Shore.

Favorite Halloween Costume? Tie: Pirate Wench or Britney Spears

This week went fast!!! Hope it did for you. Big congrats to Susie and Bill over

who got engaged~In honor, I used my #1 favorite as a toast to them and here is a toast to all you gorgeous people for a blessed and beautiful weekend!

1. PINK MOSCATO CHAMPAGNE

So in love with this Barefoot Bubbly and even more so now that it comes in little bottles like this 4 pack from Target for $12.99. I even had a ~~glass~~ bottle this week with my chicken and Pasta dish (Here). It is the perfect hint of sweet while being crisp and sparkling.

2. OUTFITS.....FALL INSPIRATIONS
I wish I could wear this everyday. I love everything about this outfit. From the jewelry to the booties to the colorful clutch and the easy boho vibe. I want the whole thing!!

I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS!! Notice all caps, I must be in love!!
To me, this is the ideal Fall Outfit and I must recreate it!!!

3. WORK ATTIRE
While coral is a favorite color, the oranges in the color wheel are not abundant in my closet. However, this week I was feeling it with some work outfits. Maybe orange has Fall on my brain.

So, how have I not noticed the cute flip flop on the Starbucks Frapps til now? I truly am in heaven drinking these, although it's not that often.

5.FOOD LINK-UP
Claire, over at Fashion and Feathers had the BEST food post this week. 5 easy crock pot meals and you know it's crock pot season approaching. Heck, it's crock pot season year round. The Taco Chicken Bowls is my favorite and it's on our radar to try this weekend.

9 ANNOYING THINGS THAT HAPPEN AT STARBUCKS

I do not indulge in Starbucks everyday. I usually have a k-cup or tea but on road trips, vacations and once, sometimes twice a week, I make the trip and enjoy the treat.

Depending on your age, location and occupation, Starbucks can either be the best place on Earth or the worst. While they do serve delicious, whipped caffeine when you need it the most, they also tend to be a little overpriced and packed with interesting subjects. Some of us do crazy things at Starbucks like deviate from your normal skinny tall to gasp.., a Venti with 2%.

There also are times in which your taste buds will ignore and defy the weather, leading to you ordering iced drinks during the winter and hot beverages in the summer on numerous occasions. However these things are not annoying but the bottom 9 can be. See if you can relate or picture it.

1. When the Barista spells your name obnoxiously wrong. How do you confuse Andrea for Android? Who's named that? Do I look like a phone?

2. When the person in front of you just can't get it together with their fancy drink order. Dear guy ordering the venti decaf soy vanilla latte with extra foam, two pumps of mocha syrup, one pump hazelnut and light whipped cream: WHY?

3. When you ask for a small and the Barista laughs and says, "You mean a tall?" OK I DIDN'T PROPERLY STUDY MY STARBUCKS LINGO and referenced a normal size chart instead. SORRY.

4. When they ask you if you want whipped cream on your frapp. Um, DUH!

5. When you hear the price and you almost pass out. But then you still go back time and time again because Starbucks is your Drug. Admit it.

6. When you've been daydreaming about your favorite pastry all day and they run out by the time you get there. But, but, where are the chocolate croissants? Yes, this marks a sad, sad day for all of us, so then on a hopeful note you try ordering a sandwich, but guess what? They’re out of everything except the boring egg and cheese one.

7. When you order something and the person behind you orders something better and you wish you got that instead. Dang, that sounds soooo good.

8. You'll be caught in the background of 1-25 pictures of peoples coffee. Don’t worry, it will run through an Instagram filter, which could even make a pile of horse manure look magical.

9. When the line is out the door. Seriously, why is the Starbucks line always so freaking long? And the drive-thru is 10 miles long too. So you stick with inside ordering only to find the girl in front of you, on her way to Yoga, has a detailed list of 8 different drinks for her little friends. Really?

But then you'll still go back tomorrow or in my case, next week.
Oh the small luxuries of life!

And Let's admit this: we do all have pictures either of our Starbucks concoctions or holding one, if not, both. Here is a favorite one of my husbands of me and my java. If you look close, it looks like I have a lip ring but don't worry mom, it is just the reflection off the Traverse Bay.
