FRIDAY FAVORITES...STELLA & SPRINKLES

STELLA MAE

Oh friends, I had all kinds of things to share for Friday Favorites but when it comes down to it, having a new puppy in the house is very similar to having a new baby. Our nights sleep is interrupted, my hair is a mess, my body and brain are tired but I am so in LOVE! So the favorite for the day is simply our sweet Stella Mae! Who happens to be 2 months old today!

A few Sprinkles and bubbles too below.

I didn’t even get a post out on Wednesday but in case you missed my Monday Post, it was a walk through my Valentine's History.

SPRINKLES COCKTAIL

And I almost forgot, yesterday I shared a sweet little cocktail that you can make nonalcoholic as well that would be great for Valentine’s Day or even Easter with the pastels.

FRIDAY FAVORITES....HELLO MAY

Didn’t I tell you? That April would go way faster than March! I think we were still in shock in March. At least hoping April went fast for you. This has been kind of a so-so week, I did get all my flowers potted but tomorrow it’s supposed to be 74, the heater is up and it’s going to be a pool day for Mr. Nine and our crew! How about you? What are your plans for the weekend?

1. Drop of Grace
by Mignon Faget
My #1 favorite are the beautiful jewels I got this week! New Orleans designer Mignon Faget (pronounced Men-Yawn Fa-Jay) has been creating striking and gorgeous jewelry collections for 50 years on Magazine Street in NOLA! Her designs are exquisite and inspired by New Orleans architecture and Louisiana wildlife. The Necklace and Earring designs here are called Drop of Grace and are from the feminine and fluid Whimsies collection. Check out the website with so many gorgeous pieces.... just in time for Mother’s Day!

WOODEN SHIPS WEBSITE
Did you see my gorgeous beachy sweater on Wednesday? And then in the above photo? I was so overjoyed that the incredible Wooden Ships Knits would share many of my photos on their website of the sweater that released this week! Let me tell you, this Wooden Ships sweater will not be my last! The slouch is perfect, it is so soft and comfortable, and every design is oh so cute!

DISTRESSED SNEAKERS
Funny story behind the Steve Madden Rezza Tennis Shoes! They are the perfect Golden Goose dupes! NOT even I am going to pay $400 for a pair tennis shoes, LOL! These cuties from Steve Madden have a great distressed look, in fact I think the worn look will be so cute with cutoff jeans and little skirts this summer! However, Mr. Nine saw them in my closet and remarked “what are those?” And I was like what do you mean, and he said, “they’re dirty,” LOL! I replied they’re supposed to be like that, but I completely get his comment because I’m one of those people that despises dirty tennis shoes, but I love these!

COVID MEMES
The Covid Memes are slowing down a little bit (I guess that’s a good thing) but I still love coming across good ones!

But I've been hiding snacks for years, lol

Have a Sweet and Safe
Weekend my Friends!

FRIDAYS FAVORITES....STILL HANGING ON

Happy Friday friends! How are you doing? Still hanging on? That’s about the only thing we can do right? There’s really no way to have an end date in sight and while our lives are probably going to be somewhat altered forever, my hope is that most of us are getting the hang of this thing!

1. #DoGoodPassItOn
KENDRA SCOTT
You know how much I love Kendra Scott and even more now because they sent out an email this week telling about an initiative they’re doing with influencers that made my heart just burst with joy and gratitude! for every piece of Kendra Scott jewelry we showcase on Instagram, using the hashtag #DoGoodPassItOn, they will donate a beautiful piece of KS to all the heroes on the frontlines! What a sweet gift to bring joy and light to everyone working so hard to keep us safe during this pandemic! I am honored to post to Instagram today so that one of our heroes can get a beautiful thank youl!

So honored to still have birthday gifts trickling in. I have a friend named Sharon in Texas who Blogs over at Adoring Creations and she is a big support and inspiration to me! Kind of like the little sister I never had. She homeschools her four children, runs a tidy ship, is devoted to the Lord and spreads light and joy wherever she goes! She’s a beautiful soul inside and out and just look at this adorable double hooded Faith sweatshirt she sent me this week! I LOVE it and I “Adore” her!

FRIDAY FAVORITES

 Not only is it Friday but it is one more week until July 4th weekend!! So ready, but Summer is flying and not enough nice days to enjoy it! It's clear skies ahead, I can feel it. Here are some goodies that got me smiling this week.

 1. BLUE HAWAIIAN
I swear there is just something about cold, fruity drinks in the summer. And when they are gorgeous to look at, they seem even yummier.
* 3/4 oz. Light Rum
* 3/4 oz. Vodka
* 1/2 oz. Blue Curacao
* 3 oz. Pineapple Juice
* 1 oz. Sweet & Sour Mix
Combine all ingredients and mix well. If using ice, mix the ingredients in a blender. Serve in a tall glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry.

 2. THE OUTFIT
One Word: PERFECTION

 3. WORK ATTIRE
I opted for some soft pastels this week. Before Stella and Dot, there was Lia Sophia. The cute necklace below is from a L&S jewelry party 12 years ago and look how nicely it has held up? Looks brand new.
Top is Style & Co.  from Macy's

Whole outfit is The Loft and Michael Kors Flats

Loft Cardigan, Target ruffle cami

 4. HIBISCUS
Did you know a Hibiscus tree's blooms only last one day? But oh so worth it. Everyday our tree has 4-5, then at night they close and fall off, only to have more open the next day. So pretty and such a darling remembrance gift for our family from the gals at work.

 5. NEUTRAL SANDALS
While I adore color, I am loving any neutral/tan/cognac sandal this summer. They go with so many things. I find myself going for these before others. Do you have a favorite summer sandal?
Kate Spade Bow Sandal, I always love a feminine bow touch

Michal Kors Josephine (you know these are my fav)

How stinkin cute are these? Guess what? TARGET! Style name is Lavinia

Now, off to savor the time with family.
Hugs and warm wishes from my home to yours for one fantastic weekend!
