FRIDAY FAVORITES HASTA LA VISTA JANUARY

What? Are you kidding me? The longest day of the year is finally over, I mean month, I mean, January, lol! You did it friends! But I’d be lying if I said I don’t want snow in February, just give us a couple blasts, lol! 

Not a favorite this week with some tooth pain I had, the dentist was able to fit me in on Wednesday and I was scared to death that there was going to be infection and a root canal and crown needed. I actually was one of those cases that baffled him because he was a little bit unsure what was going on and doesn’t want to do any kind of work until we have a definitive diagnosis, so I have a mouthwash I’m using and we’re going to look at the tooth again in two weeks. I’m hoping for the best. Let’s get to some Friday favorites, friends!

Shopping with the Babes

Shopping at Home Goods with these two, their mama and my mom and then all having lunch together at Panera to celebrate their mommy’s birthday was definitely a favorite!

Massage 

Last year I had so much stress and so many neck problems that a friend of mine suggested the massage therapist where she works. Luckily for me, she also does massage out of her home and will come to yours. I’m now on her books monthly and she has done wonders, this coming from a girl who never used to get massages, lol. I went to her house Tuesday, and I was so relaxed all day!

Stella Mae

This girl! Mr. Nine’s girl! And mine. Celebrating three years next week of her gotcha day. She is the best dog that either one of us have had. She is 8 pounds of pure love and devotion! She is truly happiest when she is either outside with us, going for a car ride, getting a pup cup with her “Giga,” hanging with her boyfriend Tater, or lounging on our laps. A true lap dog with so much love! She sleeps curled right up next to me, and we truly do not know what we would do without her. Not kidding when I say we’ve seriously investigating cloning her DNA, lol!

My Galentine’s. A set of ladies I also don’t know what I would do without. We try to get together quarterly, and this was one of several visits last year. In April, we did a favorite things party in Chicago and had an absolute blast. Lots of cocktail time too.

FRIDAY FAVORITES DON'T BE BLUE EDITION

Happy Friday my sweet babes! It has been the most glorious weather here this week! We had a major mishap with our pool last weekend, but thank goodness for pool store connections, and our sweet friends that came out and got everything in shape on Monday. Bless them and Bless my Dermatologist....

1. Skin Cancer Margins Clear

....He got all the skin cancer on the first cut. Now I do have a big gouge in my leg but I’ll take good care of it, my friend gave me some wonderful healing cream, and hopefully there won’t be too big of a scar.

2. Nail Polish

Oh, and many of you asked about the nail polish I was wearing when I shared my leg and an Instagram story. It’s my favorite especially for the toenails from Essie called watermelon. Found the BEST Price HERE.

I see everyone sharing Walmart clothes, but I haven’t really found that many this year except for these two. This TOP is the prettiest shade of blue by Sofia Vegara. Only $20

FRIDAY FAVORITES...JUMPING FOR JULY

I’m jumping for July not only because I found the cutest jumpsuit that I included in this post but because it has been a good month! Let’s hope that goes right into August. Our sweet little Stella Mae did have to get bloodwork yesterday in preparation for next month’s surgery to get her spayed, but you can bet we will take loving care of her and will share with her more about her sister Daisy on the third anniversary of Daisy's Death Sunday. What a void sweet Stella has filled!

1. Saturday’s

We have had so many fun Saturdays this month!

Last Saturday we went for a 2miles walk with Stella, then had beverages alfresco at a new Brewery. Next it was pizza we had not before eaten in a McDonalds parking lot because the pizzeria lot was too small, lol.

A couple weeks ago we went to a 25th anniversary party for Mr. Nine‘s best friend from high school. It was at a golf course, and they golf carts available for romantic golf rides. Ours was more like Caddyshack, lol!

2. A Bath Decor Refresh

We have 5 bathrooms and I love them all except the Basement one which happens to be Mr. Nine’s fav, lol! I decided it was time for a pop of color in there and a little bathroom refresh and I just love it with the gold. The round Wall Hanging is from Target and it’s such a great piece for $40!

3. These Boots

Well friends, while I know some of you were promoting the Nordstrom sale and purchasing from it, I was not really one of those! I was not loving anything this year except for two things: my favorite underwear by Natori Bliss of which I got two pair, and these Paul Green Booties! Paul Green is a favorite of mine for high-quality, rich looking European leather shoes and boots, and this was such a good deal. They are absolutely a splurge, but they are worth every penny! I have another pair that I absolutely love!

4. $18 Jumpsuit

And just like that I go from pricier to super Duper affordable, that’s how I roll! This Jumpsuit is a pure winner! And hello $17.98!! It is in the junior section of Walmart, so I did go up one size which I always do in juniors. And it fit perfectly, it is the softest knit and guess what? No bra needed with this one! It toes tight enough over the smocking in the front, that there is no need for one. And just look how cute the back cut out is!

Little Stella had a day with grandma on Monday and mom snapped a few photos after she stole her glasses! Stella loves nothing more than to take something from us and run as fast as she can so we will chase her! She is a little hoot!

AFFORDABLE SUMMER DRESSES TO BEAT THE HEAT

Oh, my it’s HAWT! I will be composing my posts in the coolest spot possible because Indiana is setting record temps. I’m hearing much other countries experiencing the same thing so it’s very important not only to wear a cute dress for time to time but to keep completely cool in the heat and these affordable (all under $35), colorful dresses will fit that bill perfectly!

 

This Color Block Cutie from Walmart comes in two different color ways and is the most affordable of all coming in at 19.98! This is from the Time and Tru line which I like to call tried and true because everything from this line always just works! This does run a little large to size down but it is also breezy sweet and the material is really nice. LOVE this dress!

This Dress is my favorite just because of the back. It is so stinking cute and I love the red and pinks! Isn’t it just dreamy? I feel so summer sweet in this! It is a great Amazon Find!! OH this Dress LOVE

Oh my goodness, talk about a one shoulder wonder with This Dress!!! First of all, I love the pink and green! And secondly, it is just so striking on. This Dress is from the Scoop line at Walmart.

  

It was so cute, I asked Mr. Nine which of the three was his favorite and he said “all of them” and I said, no help me pick one and he said “all of them because of the person that is wearing them!” He’s a keeper!
