FRIDAY FAVORITES....VACATION EDITION

Trying to get back in the saddle this week! SOOO MUCH RAIN. I was overwhelmed to write this post because we had so much fun on vacation and so many pictures so I will probably spread it out in other posts or an entire dedicated post and today just concentrate on my most favorite part of our vacation, which was when our kids were there! And, as always, lots of other fun Friday favorites too!

  

1. Kids

While just starting their careers, it’s literally impossible to not only get all our kids but also to get them for an entire week so we settle for a couple days. But next year, they told us they’re going to try to get the whole week as they will be more established and we’re hoping all the girls can come too.

Here are a few pictures of the fun we had with our sweet kiddos!

And did we ever pack everything in that we could for them! From their favorite restaurants to hiking to great breakfasts to games on the beach to family walks, we made sure they got the most out of it.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...SUMMER VIBES EDITION

Happy Friday! I’m moving slow. Sweet concert last night with Mr. Nine to see my tall drink of country but in a different time zone and a LATE night. I may or may not be sleeping So I’ll get right to telling you to make it a GREAT DAY and cheers to these Summer Favorites.

1. BRETT YOUNG CONCERT

Next to Mr. Nine, my sons and Brady Quinn, I believe Brett Young is the most handsome guy on the planet. Plus, this guy can sing making us grateful his baseball career got cut short by injury. I always tend to grab a new artist to the country scene and adore them and their music. Remember my Cole Swindell concert and Retweet? Yeah, I still l love him, but Brett has taken a notch above and I was soooo excited to see him in concert last night! I briefly meet him in Vegas last year and this guy is tall and super sweet! His fiancé shares my maiden name so maybe we’ll be distantly related by marriage, lol!

While the concert was fun, it was at a Fair we’re not familiar with and didn’t realize we’d be standing for 4 hours in a “country” standing only pit with 8000 cowboy boot crop top wearing teenagers. And I wanted to smack the high held cell phones outta their hands. #watchtheconcert #exhaustedmiddleagedcountryfans

This girl! Sweet Sarah Shaneyfelt is a southern Alabama soul who has my heart. We both love Jesus, baking, decorating, reading, exercising, family and Christmas. Not only is she my friend, but she and her husband Dustin are on a journey that I just had to highlight. Sarah has shared their Struggle with Infertility and joy filled their hearts and ours when we read Their Path to Adoption! I am over the moon for them because these two were meant to be parents. Sarah’s love of Christmas is so precious and can you imagine the joy on their future child’s face on Christmas morn? COLOR BLOCK CUTENESS & TBB STYLE LINK-UP

Love, love , love a good midi and this one from The Loft was perfect. Welcome to our weekly fashion link-up. Today, I'm also over at The Blended Blog showing off my favorite Pom Pom clutch. I was just in The Loft recently and the sales lady said this was one of their fastest selling skirts. I could not find it online and I just ordered it 3 weeks ago but there were still a handful in my store so, check yours.

What I love about it, besides the length is the color combo....to me, it's a great mix to take us right into Fall, although I'm not ready for my favorite season yet at all. I was just thinking it'll be great to get another season out of it.

The linen tee is also from The Loft and I love how they are made. I never really used to be a huge fan of the mustard color but it really popped with this. In fact, when I walked in the living room, Mr. Nine said "that's a really pretty outfit!" So, of course I knew it was a winner!

The satchel purse by Sole Society is my favorite purchase from last year's Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I can't believe the big sale is next month! Are you ready?
