WEARING AN AMAZON JUMPSUIT IN THE FALL

A few years ago, I got this Jumpsuit in black and fell in love with how soft the knit was while still being flattering at the same time! Enter Fall 2022 and I fell hard for this color, lol! A soft, knit Jumpsuit can be so versatile especially with all the toppers to go with it. Here I’ve styled it three ways and I love them all!

This jumpsuit happens to be the Daily Ritual Brand on Amazon which I can tell you, should probably be at a major department store, it’s better quality than most of the foreign sellers on Amazon and made to last as I can attest with my one from a few years ago! You are going to this jumpsuit, I even wear mine lounging around the house, the pockets are great, and the material just feels good on your skin. Plus as I always test out with jumpsuits, it’s an easy up easy down, lol! Size up one in this for the BEST fit.

HOW TO WEAR KNIT DRESSES IN THE FALL

A knit dress can be so versatile and it’s always so comfortable to wear! Knit dresses for Fall are always a good idea because they are so easy to layer and accessorize with other great pieces.

I know some of you are probably thinking: "I cannot wear knit, it shows too many bulges!" Yes, let me tell you, I agree but throw on some Smooth you out, suck you in undies or biker shorts underneath and your silhouette is oh so fine!

As you know I am a huge fan of Gibson Look and they have created some knit dresses that flow so nicely on your skin!

This first Dress also comes in black, but I fell in love with the beautiful hunter green shade! Love the drape, love that it’s belted, and I love it with boots! I had a Moto Jacket from Gibson Look to also go over this, but it was warmer than I thought it was going to be this day.

The Knit Dress under this Duster is sleeveless, so you talk about truly versatile! It is so soft and really lays nice against your body. FRIDAY FAVORITES..BYE SEPTEMBER

I think we can all agree that Fall is already going way too fast! I literally blinked and September was over. But I must admit I’m excited for next month, lots of fun activities going on, and last year I was somewhat robbed of my October because of my surgery recuperation. So, let’s embrace Fall y’all and get to favorites!

Side note before I get going, not a favorite but glad to have it over with is Stella's surgery to get spayed. She had it done on Tuesday and seems to be recouping nicely. This pic was on the way home from the Vet.

1. Family Fun Day

What a joy last weekend was! I had been thinking for the past few weeks that I would have all three of my boys in one spot at the same time and we were going to do family photos since it may be the only time our one son was home from Baltimore before the holidays. However, our youngest was unable to come home due to an important exam and car trouble and we weren’t able to finagle anything soon enough. But so great having a day with dad and I to buzz around the lower Michigan area and what fun we had we tried several new places which was a blast.

The most fun of the day was an old bowling alley that they have refurbished and turn into not only bowling but a hard cider taproom called Peat's Cider Social! It was so awesome for Mr. Nine and I because it was like walking back into the 80s. Bowling sucked of course but boy did we have a good time!

Then the next morning they got to have breakfast with Giga!

2. In My Element

It’s no secret I love me some mums and pumpkins and this day at one of our local farmers markets, I was in my element. All the mums were blooming, (although I buy them closed to keep them longer) and it was a beautiful day to snap some cute pictures in my Gibson Look mock neck luxe top! 3. Cozy Earth

All my favorite brands today! It’s no secret that I am a big fan of Cozy Earth and own lots of their pajamas, loungewear, and bedding!! September! You are upon us! Oh, September and what to wear! Here in Indiana, we teeter between hot days, cool nights, lots of humidity and a chilly day thrown in here or there, so it’s like what to wear? We’re coming out of summer transitioning into Fall with your closet and your mind doing a head spin with your outfits of the day.

I’ve mentioned to you before here and here my love of Gibson Look! Their classy yet trendy pieces are so on point this Fall! I have got a couple of the best dresses to wear now and later as it gets cooler.

Oh, this little ruffle number DRESS!!! Besides the class black and white, the fit is so in check! When it’s a beautiful warm day just slip on some sweet little sandals!

FRIDAY FAVORITES....FLOWERS AND FASHION EDITION

What a beautiful week weather wise. Our pup Miss Stella had a yucky week though. She was due to get spayed next week but on Tuesday we thought she had gone into heat but my fur mama ‘s intuition told me it was something different and sure enough it was blood in the urine or a UTI. She is on antibiotics and pain meds poor girl and we’re hoping she does not go into heat before she can get healed and get the spaying completed! Taking extra loving care of my sweet Stella this week! This Friday favorites is about some of my favorite things: flowers and fashion.. oh and feathers, lol!!

Look AT THOSE SAD LIL EYES!

1. Making Flowers Last

You know how I love flowers! While I do love annuals and perennials, I also love fresh cut flowers. I shared with you on Monday how my friend Beth From Farm Grown Flowers made me several bouquets when the ladies were here for their weekend visit. I wanted those beautiful flowers seen here, to last as long as possible!

What I do to keep the flowers lasting longer is every single day is I change the water as well as cut all the stems at an angle rinsing those stems off before I do so. The ones below are a week later still going strong.

A prime way to enjoy flowers is a beautiful, dried flower arrangement. Once the cut flowers are gone in our area, I like displaying a centerpiece of dried flowers to brighten up the home! Preserving nature is a wonderful thing!

And I will be sharing more in a couple weeks about a wonderful day trip my mom and I took to some local, gorgeous, Botanical Gardens!
