FRIDAY FAVORITES....FLOWERS AND FASHION EDITION

What a beautiful week weather wise. Our pup Miss Stella had a yucky week though. She was due to get spayed next week but on Tuesday we thought she had gone into heat but my fur mama ‘s intuition told me it was something different and sure enough it was blood in the urine or a UTI. She is on antibiotics and pain meds poor girl and we’re hoping she does not go into heat before she can get healed and get the spaying completed! Taking extra loving care of my sweet Stella this week! This Friday favorites is about some of my favorite things: flowers and fashion.. oh and feathers, lol!!

Look AT THOSE SAD LIL EYES!

1. Making Flowers Last

You know how I love flowers! While I do love annuals and perennials, I also love fresh cut flowers. I shared with you on Monday how my friend Beth From Farm Grown Flowers made me several bouquets when the ladies were here for their weekend visit. I wanted those beautiful flowers seen here, to last as long as possible!

What I do to keep the flowers lasting longer is every single day is I change the water as well as cut all the stems at an angle rinsing those stems off before I do so. The ones below are a week later still going strong.

A prime way to enjoy flowers is a beautiful, dried flower arrangement. Once the cut flowers are gone in our area, I like displaying a centerpiece of dried flowers to brighten up the home! Preserving nature is a wonderful thing!

And I will be sharing more in a couple weeks about a wonderful day trip my mom and I took to some local, gorgeous, Botanical Gardens!

2. Emi and Kay
Cutest pajamas you ever did see! You saw in my post Monday where us 5 ladies each got a pair. And I got some pics with my girl too! The Sarah Ruffle Set in the watermelon have their signature cooling fabric and are darling! You need this CUTE SET! USE CODE PINK20 for 20% off.

3. Teddy Blake & Mint Julep

My feathers certainly won’t get ruffled in this chic outfit! Will you look at this baby blue feather top from The Mint Julep Boutique and beautiful stilettos from Teddy Blake. I knew the minute I saw the “Emma” suede heels that I had to get that top and pair with white!!!

And as always you can use my Teddy Blake Code: TBANDREAN30 for 30% off their shoes and bags! These heels come in five colors and the feather top in several as well. DATE NIGHT HERE I COME!!

4. Gibson Look

This sweater! The fit, the fabric, the neutral nice vibe! Another winner from Gibson Look along with the Blazer I showed you Wednesday. I love the side slits and looser roll neck. Great piece to head into Fall. And you can USE CODE: ANDREA10 for 10% off this cutie and everything on their site!

Stella's pic at the top of the post just melts your heart. I lived in Elkhart for many years - I thought that you lived in that area of Indiana because of some of the day trips you post.
