September! You are upon us! Oh, September and what to wear! Here in Indiana, we teeter between hot days, cool nights, lots of humidity and a chilly day thrown in here or there, so it’s like what to wear? We’re coming out of summer transitioning into Fall with your closet and your mind doing a head spin with your outfits of the day.

 

I’ve mentioned to you before here and here my love of Gibson Look! Their classy yet trendy pieces are so on point this Fall! I have got a couple of the best dresses to wear now and later as it gets cooler.

 

Oh, this little ruffle number DRESS!!! Besides the class black and white, the fit is so in check! When it’s a beautiful warm day just slip on some sweet little sandals!

As the day starts to turn chili for the night, put on your Moto jacket and some cute booties and if your legs are chilly of course you can add in the tights! I am on the hunt for some cute Fall tights! Darling DRESS!

Oh, the print of this little Boho number is divine! Again, it’s a nice weight to just pair with some sandals on a somewhat warm day. LOVE the drawstring waist!

Then transition with a Jean Jacket, boots and of course you can throw on a hat! I really think you’re going to love this one.

AFFORDABLE FASHIONS TO TRANSITION TO FALL

Who said it was August? Did you say it’s August? Why oh why? I am a summer girl but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t absolutely love Fall, especially for fun fashion, crisp nights and all things pumpkin, lol! While I am still living out summer to the fullest with lots of fun activities going on this month, I am starting to think about transitioning in the Fall with some cute clothes because the transition can be hard. Here are some cute pieces that will allow me and YOU to do just that!

COLOR

The COLOR! Yes color me into Fall, I truly think mustard like these mustard yellow flats and teal, like this blouse, look so good together! It’s all about the color in the Fall for me!

I thought both of these looked adorable with my new mustard shoes, these flats happen to be from Amazon and they are so stinking comfortable!

 

There is something about teal and mustard together that I just love! In fact I put some touches of both of it in our basement family room recently. I love that I can wear this top with white now it looks so crisp and then in the Fall with some jeans or a skirt and boots

How cute is the sweatshirt especially seeing that I am a Midwest girl! I love the cream background with the mustard and pink and sweet Sun rays. Perfect with Faux Spanx Leggings!

WAFFLE KNIT

I think waffle knit happens to be the perfect material to head into Fall. This TOP!!! It’s light weight but it has a slight warm and softness to it! These one shoulder waffle weave tops from Amazon have been huge sellers on LTK for me. I literally had over 100 people asked me for the link to them on TikTok! And then I realized I could put my in my TT bio, which will give access to links of mine in one spot.

The color of this first one is LAKE, so pretty!!

And of course, you can do a Waffle Weave Cardigan. This one comes in several colors, and I love the asymmetrical hem. With shorts and boots, it’s so cute and then when it gets colder, bring on the jeans and leggings! look at my Photo Bomber too, lol.

SUMMER TO FALL DRESS & TBB FALL FASHION LINK-UP

Welcome Fine Friends to the First Fall Fashion Frenzy Link-Up installment for TBB weekly fashion and style link-up! Today we have the very important topic of Summer to Fall Fashion transition. Now, I personally don’t feel this is as tough as Winter to Summer transition but with very hot days still lingering yet chilling off quickly in the evening, it’s sometimes a what to wear middle of the line kind of thing. My favorite transition tends to be a pretty long sleeve dress or dress with cardi, still sans tights with any beloved peep toe bootie! 

I was so excited to get this dress in Old Navy on Friday and what a deal it was...$14! I had seen it online and since I love these style of comfy shift dresses, I decided to head over there and check it out In Person! The minute I saw it: SOLD! I also found some GREAT party dresses at a fabulous online site called Simply Be. Check them out HERE. 

The black back drop makes the floral print striking and the colors are so Fall reminiscent. I’ll look forward to wearing with s cardigan, sweater vest, maybe my new and later on, I’ll wear tights and closed toed booties and boots.
