FRIDAY FAVORITES...MOM EDITION

Hi Beauties! The weather has been so glorious this week that I don’t even care if it’s raining today, I have errands to run anyway, lol. It is the weekend to celebrate moms, not just moms of kids, but moms of fur babies, moms to be, bonus moms, future moms, women who mentor us as moms, and so much love for those who have lost their precious moms, and those who may not have a relationship with their mom. I am beyond blessed to still have my mama here and in good health and engaging in lots of shenanigans with me! She is the best!

1. Day with Mama

Speaking of mama, we had a spectacular day, going to our local Wellfield Botanical Gardens to see the spring blooms, she and Mr. Nine and I, along a Stella Mae signed up to be members and next summer we can get a grandparent membership, lol! We both felt very springy so we captured some pictures. I love my new little compact tripod for taking along on adventures like this.

2. cabi Beaming
The sweater I wore is one of the new releases from my beloved, cabi! It is called the Beaming Sweater, and what a fitting name, because the bright yellow is so sunshine like, and the puff sleeves are so charming! I just love it! I wore the cabi Romance Scarf in my hair and felt blooming sweet!

3. Spanx Gift for Mom

4. Nature

I remember that on my summer Friday favorites I usually do a little segment on nature because it is abundant around us. This will often include my beautiful posies, and I can shirt starting to share flower tips on my Instagram stories, especially on Tuesdays. I planted my last pass this week in a few perennials and I’m so glad to have everything in the ground with no signs of have to covering up for frost like I did last year.

This week my orchid-colored Azalea was at its peak so I had to snap this photo.

After I spend 45 minutes wearing all my flowers, I love to sit by the pool in the evening, so serene! Tousled and tired from the day but all's good!

And sweet Stella, every day we go for two laps around the pond, and she’s always mesmerized by the wildlife, especially the darn geese. What she doesn’t know is how mean they are, she just wants to play with them and doesn’t understand why they don’t, lol.

Are you doing anything fun this weekend? I am very much looking forward to Sunday brunch with my peeps, wish all my boys could be there, but you know, geography and jobs, lol. We are going to the same place we went last year, which is a local Italian restaurant that does a brunch so incredibly well and everything is made from scratch, I told Mr. Nine I will be eating 18 mini cannoli’s, lol. And I will be sampling all 100+ items, no just kidding but I’m going to eat a lot.

FRIDAY FAVORITES HI MARCH

Hello, first Friday in March! Always wonder what this month will hold, especially for weather. Wednesday was beyond glorious; almost 60 and sunny. Stella Mae got a great vet report that day too at her checkup! As always, I’ve got some great Friday favorites and I hope your weekend ahead is spectacular!

1. Eyelash Tutorial

2. Blue Target Slip Dress

This $25 Dress from Target in the title photo makes me smile! I swear this is the blue shade of the spring and summer! I’m not really sure what you call it I guess sort of marine, marine blue. I found a pair of pants in this color from J.Crew but now I’m on the hunt for a sweater to take to Europe.

I like this dress with both the white leather jacket and Jean Jacket but I think the white really makes the blue pop more.

3. Workwear to Casual with One Outfit

Did someone say slimming pants! I think these Pants from SPANX are the most slimming pants in my closet and such a flattering fit! The side split hem is adorable, and they sell out so quick. But they always restock. I loved how they can be for workwear like I showed here with the Button Down White Shirt or for casual by adding sneakers and a sweatshirt; on or tied over the shoulders (this one is my beloved Air Essentials Crew in pale pink)

Red Pants..Sweet Tee

I love these red pants. Flowy and fun and come in more colors than just red. I have them in pink too. And affordable. The long sleeve top is an elevated tee with the rouching at the cuffs and slight puffy shoulders. Both pieces are great finds from Amazon.

2. Grandma...Would've been her 100th!

Although #1 in my heart, I save for #2, because yesterday, the 2^nd, my grandma would’ve “Duked it out with Punxsutawney Phil” as she used to say because her birthday was on groundhogs’ day. She would’ve been 100 and we would’ve celebrated big. We lost my sweet grandma in 2016 but always delight in her connection with the groundhog.

If you have never read the sweet post about my grandma entitled "She's a Doll, do so HERE. Below is the stuffed Groundhog my mom got her one year for her birthday. She loved that thing and he now resides with my mama.

3. Home Decor Refresh

I am always looking for cute home decor pieces this time of year. I like a few new pieces for a refresh. These pieces are fantastic and affordable. My vase and stems came this week and I love them.
