FRIDAY FAVORITES...Cupcake Edition

I am so sorry dear friends, I had this cupcake thing all prescheduled and I'm still posting this Friday fun but my heart is not in it today. As some of you know my sweet grandma passed this week. My mom's mom, my last living grandparent, my favorite grandparent and I swear one of the sweetest souls you'd ever meet. We are so happy she is an angel now. Heaven got a 93 year old gem! I posted one of my most treasured posts about her last October.
I hope you'll read "She's A Doll" as a tribute because it means so much to me.

MY GRANDMA!!!!
She truly was a DOLL!!!!
And not only was she sweet, forgiving, gracious, hardworking and beautiful, she gave me the sweetest gift of all: My MOM.
My college graduation...3 generations

1. Cupcake Wine Pairings
If you like wine with your cupcakes, here is my take. I like a crisp, white like a Prosecco paired with a white or fruity cupcake and a Semi sweet Red paired with a chocolate cupcake.

The White Chocolate Pink Moscato Cupcakes  I made for Tuesday's Post,
My favorite Tasty Tuesday post to date.

2. Fresh Flowers
Posies are on my brain because now that the sun is shining and it's finally warmer, I can start plotting my outdoor flower scheme. As you may know from this post Picking Posies, my mom and I go every year to several greenhouses to map out our beauties. Until then, I try to buy fresh flowers every couple weeks to brighten up the inside. My grandma would have loved these.
Here are the lovely pink tulips I had this week
I added a few carnations for contrast

3. Week's Attire
These are actually from the last couple weeks since I was on bereavement but Love when able to threw off the outer layer on the way home and open up the sun roof now that it's finally getting nicer!!

4. "Cake By The Ocean" DNCE
This song is so catchy and makes me wanna dance!! And eat a cupcake by the ocean, lol. I realized 2 things this week: Joe Jonas is the lead singer and the Band name DNCE is a misspelling of the word Dance to say  "Hey, we're are imperfect." No matter what they call themselves, love this song and it's funky vibe.

5. This Sign
How cute is this Cupcake sign from a cupcake shop in Ogden, Utah?
I ordered 15 dozen from a local shop last week for graduation open house so cupcakes on the brain!

HAPPY WEEKENDING Sweet Friends!!
I appreciate you all so much!

WHITE CHOCOLATE PINK MOSCATO CUPCAKES

If the weather is not going to hurry up and get Spring-like maybe I can add Spring to the kitchen with fresh flowers, my favorite pink champagne or moscato and yummy cupcakes! Seeing my bottle of pink bubbly and not been able to drink it out on the patio made me decide if I can't drink wine on the porch, I can eat cupcakes on the couch!
Yum

Thus, this recipe was born and I'm am absolutely in love with how fluffy yummy they turned out! I simply love how girly they are and pretty for spring!

You obviously know by now how much of a Moscato and champagne fan I am! To me, they are very similar and since I love the both the pink Moscato and the Barefoot pink Moscato champagne, I wanted to see what would happen if I added both of these yummy bubbly's to a the cupcake and buttercream frosting! The result is pure heaven!

Can you imagine, serving these at brunch, baby showers, bridal shower's or a girls night in! I even let my teenagers try them, they thought they were pretty special.
