FRIDAY FAVORITES......ALL THE LOVE

Quite the week around these parts! We got beautiful snow, but the temps were so frigid the schools were closed, and I chipped a molar that will probably need a crown, good times! But here’s what’s crazy, I already have a dentist appointment on the books for a cleaning next Wednesday so he can assess it and wait until you I tell you hear the whole story, let’s just say the chip involved something that was going to be on their treat tray that I always take them next week, lol. But we’re having lunch with a couple kids tomorrow so things will look up and I hope warm up!

1. Tiered Tray

I just put out one Valentines Tiered Tray this year. It’s pretty much the same as last year but I thought I would share it again and I’ve made a video on how to put tiered trays together that I will share on Instagram soon.

2. Cozy Earth

It’s no secret I am a huge fan of Cozy Earth bedding, pajamas, and loungewear! I have been coveting their silk bamboo pillow for some time now and I’ve been so happy to report I was sleeping on it several nights and I am in love. 3. Snuggle Puppy

Ahh the sweet Snuggle Puppy!!!

I have heard dog owners rave about this and it was suggested to us that we get one of these when we bring our girl home next weekend. I shared it on Instagram and many of you said your doggies loved it. The heart already has a battery in it so when you put it in the Velcro underneath the dog where the heart would be, it mimics the mother’s heartbeat and pumps. There’s also heating packs that you can put inside the pup so it can keep your doggie warm. This is great for puppies, dogs with anxiety, scared of storms etc.

4. Lunch

It’s nice to start beginning to have lunch with friends again, pandemic permitting. There is a wonderful new café inside a restored hotel in our town called Relish! They have a pastry chef, serve my favorite local Refinery Coffee and their breakfast and lunches are fabulous!

 

Not only did I get to chat with a dear old friend of mine, but I ran into my cousin who I have not seen in 20 years.

VALENTINE'S DAY TIERED TRAY

In continuing with all things LOVE, here is this year‘s Valentines Tiered Tray! You may remember Last Year, I did two, a pink one and a red one. I have plans for a new pink one next year, but that tray is currently adorned with a new coffee theme that I can’t wait to share with you soon.

 

I used many of the same items I did for my red and white tray last year but there are some fabulous new pieces that I was tickled pink to obtain, or should I say red, so to speak! LOL.

 

You know I’m crazy for the little Knit hats made by fabulous knitters on Etsy. This red and white one is no exception. LOVE my Marshmallow mugs they go on.

The darling Letter Boards from my dear friend at Felt Creative Home, who also creates these trays, introduced me to another Etsy store called Words with means and that’s where I obtained the darling letter board lips.

The Truck round Shiplap Sign is a definite favorite!

Last year I used a precious little valentine bicycle on my tree that my mom got me but this year I decided to fill my coveted black metal truck with Felt Hearts

A new XOXO Rae Dunn mug filled in the back with some red color and every now and then I pull it off to sip my coffee! Of course, I still adore the red pitcher the tiny hearts, A great TJ Maxx find. 

The little wood Book Stacks are such his and so perfect for these trays!

VALENTINE'S DAY & THE TIERED TRAYS

You may remember last year, I kind of incorporated some red valentine decor in with my Regular Tiered Tray. Well, I have upped my tiered tray game big-time this past year, now owning three of them. This year, I decorated two of them for sweet Valentine’s Day! One of them in a soft and feminine pink and white and the other one, my amazing Black Tiered Tray, with lots of lovely red!

I hope you like them; they sure bring some sweetness to our home! I really can’t pick a favorite between the two because I really love pink and I really love red, LOL! Let me know what you think of them and I’ve included the details at the end of this post where I can for some of these love filled items!

Up first is the pink and white tray. This tray was all based around a Pinterest pin where I saw the darling little Rolling Pins last year. I ordered them but they weren’t here in time for Valentine’s Day so I knew this tray would be created this year! I got the little stripped marshmallows and a favorite find for this tray was the Rae Dunn Mug that says Me & You, as that was mine and Mr. Nine‘s wedding song by Kenny Chesney! I absolutely love how sweet this tray is. small ceramic pedestals are great for height on the trays like where I have the eyelash cups.

The little Marshmallow Mug Faces are so precious on these mugs and I can see myself utilizing those for other trays throughout the year. I already have plans for the next trays themes.

I had almost everything to create this red and white tray and I love what a statement of love it makes! My dear friend Laura got me the red and white Wood Beads and they were perfect for Valentine’s Day. My mom got me the little bicycle last year and I knew it had to be included on the tray. She also got me the cute felt heart placemat below the tray on clearance last year and I love how well it goes with the tray. Probably one of my favorite things also are the Stack of wood books LOVE this one too!

The Felt Hearts  have my heart for sure! These Rolling pins would be adorable on it too! And I want this Kissing Booth Sign So cute!!

THE TIERED TRAY & VALENTINE'S DAY

OK, OK I admit, I wasn’t even going to decorate my Tray for Valentine’s Day. I had it all decked out in a neutral palette to match our main living area accent color of slate blue with greenery and whites. However, when I saw what my soul sisters were doing with theirs and some cute things they found at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby, I knew I had to add some extra “love” to it! I guess you’d say its kind of a mix of how I’ll decorate it every day with the addition of the cute red heartsie stuff. 

I couldn’t decide between pink or red accents or both, but ultimately went with the red. My dear friend Lisa From Coast To Coast got these adorable love wood beads at Hobby Lobby and I text her while in the store just to locate them. It was my foundation for expanding into a Valentine type look. All the little puffy felt hearts were found at Michael’s and that “I love us”

sign and little red glass hearts are from Hobby Lobby. 

I also got some red battery-operated heart lights from Michael’s and was going to put it on the tray but it seemed like too much so I’ll find another spot for them.

Sweet little reminders of family and friends help add to the sweetness of the tray. The tobacco basket and blessed sign are from the dear mentioned Lisa and reminds me of a Nashville trip with the ladies. I love you to the moon and back is one of mine and Mr. Nine‘s sayings. There’s a little white pitcher that was my sweet grandmothers. The pineapple plant is from my mama.
