A few years ago, before I started blogging, I had this image in my mind that all blogger wore was stripes, hunters, vests and plaid scarves and I thought to myself, "when I become a blogger, I am not going to conform and wear the blogger uniform!" But truth be told, I kinda like it. I mean it's the way I like to dress in the Fall. It's comfy and this particular combo just pulled together so nicely.
Truth be told, it is still too hot to wear a scarf so most of this came off after the pictures except for the light weight sweater. And the jeans are actually capris.
When I got the Caslon Sweater from Nordstrom, I almost pulled the trigger on a $79 grey Utility Vest from the same brand but then my savvy shopper brain reminded me that I had seen one at Target from their new line: A New Day. The stuff is affordable, trendy, cute and well made.. I ended up ordering online as they were out of my size. Whenever there is a draw string involved, I go up one size. I know I can cinch it but I have that extra room for sweaters underneath. It was perfect and under $30
The scarf is one of my favorites ever from Nordstrom and only $22, it is not a heavy one at all as this girl gets hot so I like some lighter scarves.
The gloss red Hunter Boots are my most favorite foot ware purchase EVER!!!! I adore these things!

haha yes! While I rarely dress like this as you really don't need rain boots in Brisbane, I am convinced my love of stripes and large number of striped pieces in my wardrobe is down to all my blog reading, it's the classic blogger print! :)

I love every single thing about this outfit friend. I really need to get some more rainboots. I have some teal ones that I snagged from Target but they have gotten a bit beat up and muddy from traipsing around the land. Also plaid and a simple stripe will always and forever be one of my favorite combos.

You're first paragraph is funny, but true! I think we all do dress alike. Perhaps it comes from constantly seeing the pictures and eventually the trend grows on us too? I'm still not a fan of hunters, but I like everything else you described. I just did a post with a grey utility vest myself and I noticed how you have the waist cinched in on your vest. I looked at your picture and thought "Why didn't I do that?"
