Hunter green is coming back! In the mid 90's, I had hunter green kitchen countertops and a white and Hunter checkered tile backsplash. I had Hunter green flannel button down that I wore with light washed pegged jeans. Loved it but then it waned and I'm not sure I owned anything in hunter green for years.. Until this gorgeous Chelsea28 lace top.
After I received it, I was looking at my stack of jeans and getting ready to grab black ones when I spotted my grey ones again and thought it paired so pretty with the green. Add in my two favorite accessories, the leopard clutch and pointy toe black pumps and it just felt right.
Flowy tops are my favorite. I just don't enjoy wearing tight around my tummy tops like I did in the 90's but I sure am glad Hunter Green is making a comeback!

My sweet darling, how I love that mix on you! Such pretty lace. Now I love green and grey and for some weeks I've had a prompt in my drafts to put together aqua and grey. And now seeing this lovely outfit you've got me itching to get back home to put it together!
ReplyDeleteHugs for a super rest of week, x.
What a great idea mixing the green with grey - it looks terrific on you! And your leo clutch has my heart! I am chuckling over the hunter green choices you made in the mid 90's. Our first house had pretty much the exact same thing- so much hunter green! Then we built this house in 96 and once again got hunter green counter tops! That's what we still have and are currently replacing. When I say my kitchen is outdated I am not kidding!!! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous friend I hope you have a lovely Wednesday!!!
xo,
Kellyann
I love your outfit. The clutch looks amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteThis top is gorgeous! I love the lace details and of course the color. And speaking of the color, it's fabulous on you! Chelsea28 does it again! That leopard clutch is the perfect accessory! Happy Wednesday, Andrea!

ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in hunter green. I had my fair share of it in our decor back in the 90's too. I'm with you on the flowy tops. I just don't like to wear anything tight anymore. The flow covers a multitude of sins (of which I seriously don't think you have my fit friend). Happy hump day! XO
ReplyDeleteI just love this color on you, so glad the colors of my youth are coming back and better! I have some gray jeans on their way to me today, cannot wait to use this post as inspo!

ReplyDeleteI love that blouse...gorgeous fit and lace accents. Oh my, remember the 90's. I think every decor item I had was hunter green and burgandy. Those were the days! ha, ha
ReplyDeleteThis is a great color on you, and it looks awesome with the jeans, heels and leopard clutch. I noticed that 'army' green is popular, also. More causal, I bought a button down top sort of flannel-like, and another in a silky, roll up sleeve style.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog; love, love, love! I'm also from the Midwest and wow, I had hunter green countertops in the nineties! Ha!
Looking forward to more visits.
Jane

ReplyDeleteHunter green is my new pink! Well...probably not because I LOVE pink, but it is a really close second. I love all the details on that blouse. I also love how you paired with the leopard clutch. Looking beautiful!
