This is quite a unique twist on a blazer. I had my eye on it for while now, and the flow of it is so nice! However, it is kind of like a "Blazer gone wrong" per Mr. Nine's observation and I am still on the fence about it. Not really any place in small town Indiana to wear this baby but it does feel so sweet on!!
I gotta say thought, my favorite part about this whole outfit is
It is 40% off and well worth the money as the pink one I got a couple years back, gets lots of use. This one goes with all kinds of colors, so even better!!
I am finding myself wearing these grey Caslon Jeans all the time. So comfortable and under $80! Every girl needs a good, comfy pair of grey jeans these days!
Unfortunately the cape blazer is now sold out but bring in anything blush colored these days, it definitely looks great with grey.

I love that blazer, especially the color!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, blush and grey is a great combination. I love the cape! I understand what you mean about not having a place to wear it though. Love it paired with the silver jewelry and pumps, too! Happy Wednesday, Andrea!

pink and grey one of my favorite fashion combos! I can't decide if I like it or not! HA It's unique! but It looks darling on you!
ReplyDeleteEvery woman needs this type of jacket in her closet! The color is just gorgeous on you and I love the structure it has even though it's a cape!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteOh I just love blush and it looks so good on you--as always :) You're always the cutest, Andrea!!!!
ReplyDeleteSarah at MeetTheShaneyfelts
I love the jeans and the clutch! I can't quite decide what to think of the blazer I both like it and am confused by it ;-) Maybe that's what makes it fun?! Hehe! Either way, you are cute as a bug as always! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything like this before! I had to giggle over Mr. Nines response. For me it isn't about how it looks, I think you could make a paper sack look beautiful, it just doesn't seem very functional and I feel like it would get awkward. Unless one was sitting still in church perhaps?
ReplyDeleteFun twist on a blazer and you pull it off well. Pretty sure our husbands would get along perfectly! I'm kind of thinking this one might not be super versatile for the long term. These jeans, however, perfect all year long!
ReplyDeleteThis cape is absolutely GORGEOUS! I LOVE the combo of blush and grey!! Too funny about Mr. Nine--sounds like something my husband would say! Sometimes guys don't get it haha!

That is one stunning blazer!!!

I'm enjoying wearing blush too this fall and winter and this very day wearing it with grey. My hub is forthright too. I ignore him and wear what I want, unless I have my own doubts in the first place.
ReplyDeleteSuper posh! Have a chic day my beauty!
ReplyDeleteAndrea... I love your blazer. So pretty!! As always, it looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I don't know where to begin, since I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this look! That blazer is da bomb. And kudos for your obvious green thumb. Your plants are thriving. Tips please? Xo Jonet

Gorgeous gorgeous cape ! The color is also perfection ! Happy Wednesday beautiful :) Xoxo
ReplyDeleteCapes are my favourite...I have two and need to wear them more often. You look ravishing.
ReplyDeleteI had to take a second look because it looks more like a blazer, but it's a fabulous cape! LOVE the color <3
ReplyDeleteGreen Fashionista
Blush and a wine/burgundy are my two favorite colors to wear besides my usual black, navy and gray. Blazer gone wrong? lol, such a man answer. I think it looks so cute on you! I find myself asking where I am going to wear things like this all the time though. I love Caslon but haven't tried their pants. I need to get on that!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beauty if blush Andrea!! I love these caped blazers and I have yet to own one. Gorgeous look, loving your necklace too!

ReplyDeleteThat blush is a gorgeous color, and I love the cape design of the blazer! Definitely different, but certainly eye catching! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteOk, that outfit is totally AH-Mazing. That blazer is so fantastic!!! It's totally on trend. I have been on the hunt for one in black. You look like you just stepped out of a magazine. I gotta disagree with your hubby, that blazer is fantastic!! Hope he won't hate me for it.
ReplyDeleteI Love the cut and color of the blazer and how you have it styled. I would imagine it's not the warmest blazer in the closet, though! Thanks for the link up. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that blazer! You've got a stunning outfit!

I love that blazer, I think it looks great on you! Such a great color. You are rocking that thing, you can totally do it!
ReplyDeleteLove the unique twist on this blazer! Mr Nine's comment is hilarious because it probably is eye-catching and confusing to some but the color is gorgeous and it's always fun trying out new styles to see what sticks.
ReplyDeleteOmg that blazer is so chic! I love the color and the style!

Keep the cape blazer!! (I'm going to start a campaign!) I've never seen one in this color before, it is SO gorgeous! It will be so pretty for spring too. And even though you may feel like you don't have anywhere to wear it, it doesn't matter. My moto has always been - "Dress like you're going somewhere better later" :) PS - that was my actual yearbook quote!! :) Happy weekend pretty girl. Hope its a great one!!

I love that cape blazer. I love blush. If that blazer has "gone wrong"...don't go right! I love it!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, you are stylin girl! Love the look. The cape blazer is awesome.

I really love the cape on you! But, I know what you mean about wearing a statement piece when your town is not one that shares a lot of that. I live in STL and I feel that way sometimes, which is why I still haven't gotten a pair of OTK boots yet, etc. (which are ALL over blogland, but not so much here!) I think I would def. wear it for a night out or whenever you are looking to make more of a statement and stand out a bit! You styled it perfectly here!!

Love that cape lady!

I love that entire outfit. The jeans are a perfect color to pull it all together. Totally loving that clutch. It is beyond adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. This look is fabulous on you. The colors are so flattering on you.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you've ever put a bad outfit together Andrea! Seriously, remember the jeans you returned that your household didn't love? You looked great in those and you look great in this cape/blazer. My question would be, was it comfortable or did the movement of the sleeves drive you crazy? OR was it even better than a cape and actually stayed on your shoulders? I love the clutch and my closet needs a fun choice. I rarely go out in the evening, but we have a cruise coming up and I think it would be fun to have a cute clutch. Anyway, this is a post comment and not a letter so I should probably end with have a fab day my friend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic blazer! You look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!

First of all, that cape is so fabulous, and the way you have it styled - perfect. I'm currently looking for a similar one- almost cried when i saw your note that its sold out! First time reader - found you on Visible Mondays.

The Cape Blazer is so unique! I absolutely love the deconstructed look of it. It is very feminine and elegant, and pairing it with metallic heels was such a good idea. I could definitely see myself wearing something like this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up this week!
