CHEETAH CHIC STYLE

Happy Monday! Ok, so I know you are not used to seeing an outfit post from me on Mondays but there's two reasons behind this today. Number one is that tomorrow is the Ageless Style Fashion link-up so I wanted to have something fresh prepared. Number two is that this post was supposed to of happened last Thursday for the monthly My Refined Style link-up. Unfortunately that link-up dissolved and while sad, we Refined ladies just had too may fans in the fire to keep another link-up going. However, don't forget about my weekly Wednesday fashion link-up with the ladies of The Blended Blog! 

That one is here to stay.

Let's talk! So as you know I absolutely love love love leopard and I know many of you do too. A lot of times it's hard to tell the difference between leopard and cheetah or is that just me? However, this cardigan is called cheetah and while I don't give a hoot about which animal print it resembles, I just know IT IS CUTE!! ! So, this is not even a sponsored post from Chadwicks but as you know I fell back in love with them at the end of last year and mentioned in this POST but I was hoping to get during their big sale. This cardigan did not disappoint and I was so happy to have this honey colored jeans Old Navy that matched perfectly.

The star of the show for me are these Calvin Klein booties. Loving the gold studs on them, the not too crazy high height and they're super comfortable and were also a clearance from Macy's.

And can I say Gaga slayed that halftime show...SOOOO Good and NO Controversy! 
AND what an ending to a SB Game!!! Wow, just Wow!!!

Here's to hoping that February shows us lots more "LOVE" than dreary January did and my wish for you is a smooth as butter Monday and a great week ahead that gets you to the weekend fast!!

PONCHO TIES & MY REFINED STYLE LINK-UP

   Welcome in this fine 2017 and our first My Refined Style Link Up of the Year!! The word Poncho just had to be in my fashion vocab this month. With snow and cold sticking around in our neck of the woods til at least March, Ponchos are on repeat  

You all know how I love them and I was super excited to open this one up Christmas Morning from my darling Mr. Nine!

The Cognac and Black mix is such a rich color combo and always a winner. I had every thing in my closet to make this mix so the outfit came together effortlessly.

The poncho tied sides are definitely what made this for me. So CUTE!

The COACH Satchel Purse..also a gift from my Nine is such a fun bag.

After I saw these pictures, I gasp a the condition of my post dated need of hair coloring hair so Box of color that night it was! Whew, I feel better now, LOL.

FRINGE FANTASTIC METROSTYLE & MY REFINED STYLE LINK-UP

I have always been a cowgirl at heart! Give me some classic denim and a little fringe fantastic and I'm giddy with a current western flare. I knew the minute I saw this soft, rich brown fringe skirt from Metrostyle that it had to be mine. BLUSH PLEATS and MY REFINED STYLE LINK-UP ANNIVERSARY

Welcome to a special Anniversary Edition of our wonderful link up called My Refined Style, We look forward the first Thursday of every month seeing the fashion goodness you ladies all bring to the table. Today my fellow hostesses and I give you a snippet of what our refined style is. 

I just knew the outfit for this post would be my beloved new Blush cold shoulder pleated top from Nordstrom HERE, beautiful tassel necklace, with white jeans and tan caged pumps from I.N.C.

This look captures and defines my style which is often a blend of dressy with a casual piece mixed in or visa versa. There is something about mixing casual and more dressy pieces and soft fabrics that makes me feel polished yet more comfortable. For me, being refined means wearing things you love but always feeling like yourself and exuding confidence.

BLACK LACE

I think this dress had to be one of my favorite from the Nordstrom Sale. It is by Vince Camuto, made so incredibly well and I can see me getting some good out of this and it being a classic in my closet for several years. The A-Line Fit and Flare Dress is so flattering. And the lace detail even more exquisite in person.

Missed snipping out the hot pink tag, but isn't the back pretty!!

Last weekend my Husband and I had a weekend away with no kids to our favorite city of Chicago. I LOVE Italian food so Mr. Nine indulged me and we went to Carmine's for a fabulous dinner. I was so excited to wear my perfect new LBD for our night out.

Even Mr. Nine added his own Refined Style with his Vineyard Vines ensemble.

I am sad to say this dress is no longer available and went fast but Vince Camuto has several other great fit and flare dresses.

Simple Italian wedges with a small velvet flower accent....had these forever.

Of course leopard to any black dress is my favorite accessory!

GAL PAL MY REFINED STYLE LINK-UP

Look-y here at my Gal Pal Laura and I in our little white dresses. Little did we know we both bought these online about the same time. I thought it would be fun to have us both model them and post for this month's installment of My Refined Style. Laura from The Horton Family also got me the fab necklace I'm wearing from a boutique in her neck of the woods down south. Love it so much that Laura got me a couple more to give to my friend, Tami and my mom. I just love the metallic sandals Laura paired with this. Cute as can be!!

I wanted a little pop of red so choose my Lace Up red heels as it pulled the red out of the darling clutch I first saw on Sheaffer Told Me To

The tassel is so stinking' cute on it and it is the perfect size.

SHOULDERS, CITRON & MY REFINED STYLE

Hi sweet and stylish friends!! Super happy you're here for our monthly My Refined Style Fashion Link-Up! This month I went with 3 of my favorite pieces for Summer; off the shoulder, white and the bright citron color. I adore how this outfit came together.

A lot of off the shoulder tops only offer that option to wear them but I love how this one works with just one shoulder off and that is how I wore it for a date night with my Mr. Nine.

Love the tassels at the hem of the H&M blouse!

These white skinnies from Target are gonna take me through Summer!

Citron is a favorite yellowish shade of mine and I was lucky to score this straw clutch from Poshmark at a great price. The shoes are I.N.C. from Macy's HERE
