Living on Cloud Nine: Memorial day outfit

Did someone just say Memorial Day and the end of May is next weekend? And per usual unpredictability, Indiana went right from winter to summer this week with almost 90° temps!

1. Sunday Funday

We were not in the 90’s quite yet last weekend but that didn’t stop Mr. Nine and I from getting in the pool at 72° air temp. Thank goodness for the heater. My Mr. Nine has had quite a lot on his mind these past couple weeks and he needed that relaxation!

We even talked about maybe having an 80’s themed dance party this summer!

2. Rituals

I love getting new body creams, shower gel and body scrubs. Rituals offers the best smelling, luxurious products at such a great price point! The Blue Heron that comes to the pond every spring and summer never ceases to amaze me! I start snapping away and I’m always happy when I can get a picture of him in flight!

Last Fall, my mom told me about a new proven winner perennial that she knew I would want to have. They are called Daisy Mae just like our beloved doggie that passed away two summers ago. I have always loved daisies and they already have so many blooms on them!

GEESE FAMILY

Have you ever heard a Goose hiss? They are fierce protectors of their babies, which I love. We have a couple sets of geese families around the pond and they protect their babies so well, always hissing at me when I walk by. I told them to “relax I’m not going to hurt their precious babies!”

I literally cannot believe it’s Memorial Day weekend already! Normally, we do this weekend up big and usually have a little getaway, but this year we will just be at home but that doesn’t mean we’re not still going to do it up right.
