FRIDAY FAVORITES...SUMMER IS FADING

Happy Friday sweethearts! As you all know, this girl loves her some Fall! It is my jam through and through. But I also adore summer, the warm temps, the pool time, the fun excursions etc. And now here we are halfway through August, and I want it to slow down just a bit for more summertime shenanigans! I don’t know about you, but I feel like August is still summer and then September is Fall no matter what the temperature is, LOL!

 

1. Aunt Linda

My Aunt Linda is one of my favorites! She is my dad‘s baby sister by 13 months and I adore her. My middle name was even inspired by her. Even though my dad lives several hours away, I am blessed that she is just 40 minutes from us in Michigan. Last Friday my mom and I took her to an early birthday lunch and enjoyed some time with her.

Oh, how I love this Jumpsuit! It is from Old Navy and can take you right into Fall with a jean jacket or cardigan. It’s super comfy, a lovely neutral type of print, very comfortable and easy to get up and down.

We had terrible storms this week, came home to one of those beloved elephant ears fallen over. 

Had to wait for Mr. Nine to get home to pick it up..it’s sooo heavy.

But this lil guy appeared within the minute to cheer me up.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

Welcome to the Jungle!

I have been waiting for an outfit that made me sing this anthem of my youth by Guns N’ Roses to the top of my lungs while wearing it, LOL! Welcome to the jungle baby with my new Jaguar Paradise Jumpsuit!!

A new to me company, called America and beyond reached out and wondered if I wanted to style one of their awesome luxe BoHo pieces! Of course, it was a huge yes because I had already been eyeing this adorable Jaguar Paradise Jumpsuit. To sweeten the pot, they threw in this adorable Leopard Jute Clutch and I just love it! It also has an attachable shoulder strap and it’s darling! 

 I love the fun colors in this jumpsuit and how the red pops! My original plan was to hold up some red roses to make it even more beautiful, but can you believe, the floral department at my grocery store was out of red roses, LOL!

The fit is pure perfection, it’s easy to get down and the top part has two hidden snaps, so it does not gape open.

I just let my front porch be the jungle because that’s what Mr. Nine calls it with my super tall coleus’s and lush bubblegum petunias! Since I don’t live close to a jungle or even a jungle gym, it’ll have to do! LoL.

FRIDAY FAVORITES...WHERE DID MARCH GO?

 My goodness this month flew by and I am so glad because there is so much goodness to get to next month! I hope you’ve had a great week and Spring is slowly but surely arriving!

1. SUNSHINY DAY DATE

If you followed along with my stories this past weekend, you saw that Mr. Nine and I had the best date day! Finally a sunny day and temps in the 50's. There aren’t tons to do in our immediate area, but if we drive an hour or more north to the lake Michigan area, there are so many breweries, markets, wineries, distilleries and local sourced food restaurants to show you a great and yummy time.

Great Neighbors, Great Friends 
As you know, we just moved into our house a little over a year ago and there’s only like 28 houses and you just don’t see your neighbors as much as we did in our old subdivision. However, I am blessed to have an Uber cool one to call friend who lives with her husband and most precious little girl (who turned 5 yesterday) in the first house which is one we admired when we decided to build in there. 
So nice to have a sweet neighbor with a similar outlook on life! We enjoyed a sweet lunch together at the house on Tuesday.

Jumpsuit and a Jean jacket…That’s how I wanna roll all Spring!! LOVE this jumpsuit found for under $20 at TJ Maxx and this jean jacket is my favorite from the Gap. I have had this darker one and a light one both from there and they are timeless. It’s a twofer Wednesday as it is the last one of the month so how bout a little fashion link-up and What’s Up Wednesday just for fun thrown in!

Last week I showed you a fun Floral Jumpsuit and the obsession is not stopping anytime soon. This one is even easier to get up and down, lol.

And remember the "Circus" Jumpsuit a few weeks back? Well, it too had vertical stripes but for some reason, with the contrasting hem, these stripes just work a lot better. The wrap top portion adds dimension too and LOVE that there are two pockets! Of course, sweet Daisy had to get in for the photo since Daddy was taking them.
