FRIDAY FAVORITES...CHRISTMAS CHEER

I can’t say I have favorites this week so I’m pulling from 2 weeks ago! But I do have a baby boy turning 24 tomorrow so that is DEFINITELY a favorite.

1. Grand Rapids Highlights

I showed much of our overnight in Grand Rapids on Instagram but putting a little here too. The hotel we stayed at was new and new to us and had a European feel. We really liked it and the attached French Portico restaurant.

The day after the concert we went to a quaint shopping area in Grand Rapids called Wealthy Street. So many charming shops and at a retro dinner I had a boozy coffee drink, and we enjoyed some yummy Mexican there as well.

Before heading home, we went to my first Crumbl Cookies store. Ok lots of hype here. They were good but Mr. Nine immediately said that my cookies are better, and I wholeheartedly agree. But now I know and if I were near another one again, I would try some more.

LET THE GIFT GUIDES BEGIN...Beauty, Books and Boys

I didn’t wanna do it, but the shopping lords have said we better. While I normally don't start sharing gift guides until November, since we’ve been told to get a big jump on our holiday shopping, I’ll sprinkle in a few this month! Today, I'm including one of my FAVORITE GIFTS from Last Year!! AND on Instagram Stories, I'll be sharing a Gift Guide each and every day!

 

This batch is a good one…the 3 B’s! Beauty, Books and Boys. And by boys, I mean guys; teens and up because let’s face it, I know a lot about that.

BEAUTY 

And by beauty, I mean Fenty Beauty. 

Rihanna has a great, affordable beauty line. It’s called Fenty, which I had no idea is her actual last name. The Lip Gloss and Highlighter are my favorite. Great Stocking and gift ideas.

I’ll have a wide range of beauty ideas to come but this is a really good, affordable line, great stocking stuffers too.

And another “B” for Beauty but as in BUM BUM CREAM! You guys, this was one of my favorite gifts last year! It is so rich and decadent, and all their products seem to get five star reviews. Every time I use it, the smell and feel transports me to a warm destination, LOL! I’m telling you this stuff is the best and such a great gift to receive. The sets are such a good deal too! Love the little Travel Set too to try it! OOOH and the Shower Gel!

BOOKS

There is literally something for everyone here from JK Rowling's new Children's Christmas Book to Air Fryer recipes to cars to travel and home decor and of course Christmas Books. My mom always gets me a Christmas Book every year! And I think the Scenic Drives sound like so much fun!

BOYS

Saved what I think is the best one for last because let’s face it, I know a thing or two about buying for guys. These are things I've actually gotten my boys and they have loved! And I have the 1st Gen of the ECHO DOT and a LOVE it, especially the clock!

Soft Joggers are always a hit! And how Cute is the Bee Hat!

They love the Shoe Cleaner kit (Best on the Market) and Spike Ball is soooo FUN! And I really love the socks that look like French Fries!
