In continuing the LOVE in my heart for all things Gingham,
(remember my Gingham Edition Friday
Favorite's?) here is my favorite piece: The midi DRESS! The WHO, WHAT, WEAR line at Target has been
around for a bit but this is my first Dress from the line.
Yep, Give me all things gingham especially with ruffles involved along
with the major love for all dresses in the midi length and this is probably my
favorite dress of the season. That’s the theme for this week’s TBB Style
Perspectives...Favorite dresses. Plus, with it being the last Wednesday of the
month, it’s a What’s Up Wednesday.
This Target gem and actually, my first purchase from The Who What Wear line
is such a great piece. What I love most about classic black and white gingham
is that the pop of color you can add with it is really anything from the
rainbow. Since the summer bug is here strong with 95-degree temps these last
few days, I went with sunny citrus yellow.

ReplyDeleteTarget needs YOU as its official stylist and model. Seriously.
Hugs,beautiful x
Love that dress on you, precious!!!! I am going to save that balsamic sausage recipe and make it next week. YUM!!! Happy anniversary to you two <3
ReplyDeleteI just love this gingham dress and how you styled it. I'm so upset about ABC cancelling Rosanne too. Of course I disagree with what she tweeted but she sincerely apologized and I have issues with taking off a show because of what someone said in their private lives. It would have been different if this was said ON her show. Then there's the whole double standard where ABC has The View or Jimmy Kimmel which say hateful, hurtful things every day in their show, yet they are still on the air. I try so hard not to get upset by all this hypocrisy. Maybe I need to just stop watching tv all together. It'll save me a lot of time and $.
ReplyDeleteYou look darling in that dress!
ReplyDeleteTarget has so many great lines lately- LOVE your dress! I also wear a lot of off the shoulder, so fun. Come on mr. pool guy- it's time to swim! Can't wait to hear about your Chicago trip :) hope your day is amazing like you, xo!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, this colour combination is gorgeous!! I'd never ever contemplated accessorising with neon yellow :) it's really pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shot of the boys in the pool! Is that a swim current???
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of relieved to hear that I'm not the only one no longer receiving e-mail notifications about comments. It's driving me nuts! Looks like you had great weather for your weekend away.
ReplyDeleteI haven't purchased anything from that line....yet! I think you have fully convinced me that I need to! That dress is the cutest! Also the lack of email notifications is driving me crazy! I like to respond back on blogs and I am losing track! Switching to Disqus is on my to-do list now!
ReplyDeleteI just ordered a b/w gingham dress, the one from Hello! Hi Sugarplum's Gibson line on Nordstrom. :) I really love how you paired it with bright yellows! I have A LOT of yellow accessories. I can't wait to read your Chicago post. I LOVE Chicago and haven't done an architecture cruise yet. Being in the Midwest, Chicago is such an easy vacation spot for us and we try to go every year or other year for a mini trip.

ReplyDeleteHOw are you liking Then She was Gone? I almost bought it yesterday, but didn't. Loving that midi dress on you. It is perfect for work or fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the who what wear line from Target!!! You look amazing in that dress!
ReplyDeleteOh that salad looks so good! I love that gingham dress! Chicago is such a great city. We did the architecture tour last summer. All that food looks yummy. Loving all of the off the should tops. What do you think of 13 Reasons/Season 2? I'm not sure about it, seen about 5 episodes. I love 80's tunes too! The best!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable in that dress I love the pop of yellow you added. I'm bummed about Roseanne too I was enjoying laughing at something a little different from everything else on television. Yay for a good trip! I hope you have a great night! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteLove! You're so right, with black and white prints, you can add any pop of color like yellow/red/pink etc and transition the whole outfit into a fashion statement. How do you like the book you're reading so far? Seems right up my alley! Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
ReplyDeleteThe pop of yellow with the gingham is just perfect! C'mon pool! You have been so patient, let's get moving! Happy Anniversary and so glad you had a wonderful trip. That architecture cruise is the best!
ReplyDeleteYou looks so chic in all your outfits. Love the midi---it would be maxi on me!

Well I am just so sorry the concrete guy is taking his sweet time. UGH. You can be mine and Katie's triplet in our black and white gingham. You do it like no other! XO (this is my 3rd time trying to comment. It kept going bonkers when I'd try...now I'm trying a different browser)
ReplyDeleteYou always look so great! Happy Anniversary! Chicago is a great city to celebrate in. I just posted a recipe for Strawberry Pecan Salad this week! It's great summer food!
ReplyDeleteSo effortlessly stunning, love the yellow heels too x
ReplyDeleteok. It's not funny, but when I saw that picture of your boys standing in the empty pool I laughed out loud! Hoping that pool gets finished soon....my boys would be driving me crazy about it. By the way...happy late anniversary! You look fabulous in this gingham dress with the lovely yellow accents and I like all the off the shoulder tops that you're sporting. Well, I'm off to bed my friend. These last couple of weeks are about to do me in! Have a wonderful week!!
ReplyDeleteSimply chic and love the pop of yellow! Happy Anniversary too! It looks like you and the hubby had a great trip to Chicago. I love it there so nice to just walk and explore! Those KS glasses are super cute. I like how KS sunglasses are not super oversized and perfect for smaller faces. I am going to have to try your crumb cake. The strawberry muffin cheesecake you did for Valentines has been a hit with my family. I have made it twice already and both times it was delicious.
ReplyDeleteMaureen | www.littlemisscasual.com
Oh yes! The Fall is SO good! Have you seen The Killing or Broadchurch? If you like The Fall, I think you would like those, too! And give me all the gingham! I just can't get enough!
