Wait…This is April? Well this week it was January cause you should’ve
seen the snow and wind that flew on Wednesday. Crazy stuff. I was out shopping
for my planters and porch décor in my winter coat, the wind whipping and
driving on yucky roads. Sun is now shining as I write this and it’s a balmy 32
degrees. However, we are to wake up to more snow on the ground. But no mind, the weekend is here and I hope yours is sunshiny and great!
1. Celebrations
Boys were scattered and College-ing so Easter was just Mr. Nine and I and my mama. Brunch was scrumptious and the birthday was quiet this year. That’s ok cause next year I’ll be on a beach drinking a fruity cocktail…or two.
Barelegged and freezing, mom was smart.

Look at this deliciousness and the mimosa of the day was a
pear/cinnamon..yummy!
Mr. Nine got me the perfect float to officially kick off the month
of pool install, I blew out candles on my key lime pie of which I had two
pieces that morning, Nine Guy also got me a Coral Yeti (coral is my favorite color)
and I got my free Starbucks! Hey Starbucks, you used to offer the birthday bevi
free anytime in your birthday month, now it’s only the day of.
2. Gifts of Love
There are tons of you all who made this birthday extra special and I wanted to share some of the delightful gifts that landed on my doorstep. My heart is overflowing with love for each one of you that sent texts, messages, tweets, comments and gifts. You have helped me get through this transitional time in my life more than you’ll ever now and I treasure you near and far. Most of all, the friendship and love I share with all of you is my greatest gift of all.
Lana is one of my Blended Blog
sisters who I had the pleasure of meeting on Our TBB Toronto Trip last year. This
lady is the real deal and she lights up a room with your warm, calm presence.
Adore her!
This curly blonde babe is a bestie of
mine. She has a heart as big as they come, her sass, wit, strength and beauty
amazing me daily! Look at the Glam Bar Cart additions!
My Sister-In-Law and Brother-In-Law and Fam
I am sooo lucky to call this family
mine. Mr. Nine’s only sister is as precious as they come as is our BIL, niece
and nephew!! Love them to pieces. Look, even some “9” Lotto tixs!
If I ever do win the lottery, I am
hiring Missy to come cook for me. Isn’t the title of her blog hilarious? This
lawyer by day, chef for fun by night and weekends is the prettiest, most
talented gal in NOLA!
Emily was another one of the first blogs
I read and her heart is the greatest! Everyone said the card looked like me and
that’s exactly what Em thought. This girl is my personal ray of Florida sunshine!
My Mama
You all know how I feel about my mom and you all helped make her feel special too last November. I could write tons of blog posts about this lady but you all know already that she is the hippest, sweetest, most precious mom ever! She makes life fun and special!
AND How CUTE is this outfit she got me in Florida!! I'm thinking lounging by the pool or date day by water!!!
And
another TBB sista, sweet Carrie put the cherry on top with her sweet Post today over at The Blended Blog. Thank you my precious friend!! I'm so humbled and honored!
Isn't she the cutest!!
Mavi fringe jeans HERE, Toms booties
Target Cardigan, top and white jeggings, Hunter Boots
4. White Blazer
A crisp white blazer ushers in a rare sunshiny day! I LOVE blazers!
5. Misc.Fun
Hint ~ The Pineapple Flavor
Completely natural flavored water with 0 calories and no after taste? I am so in. I tried this in some other flavors a while back and it was tasty, just the right “hint” of fruit flavor but the pineapple (which I found at Target) has my heart!! Will be my go to Summer Beverage.

Front Door Mat
This door mat is so great. I had sitting there a much smaller, regular size so I was so excited to see Target had the cutest larger ones that suits the front door so much better. It's 23x35 and on sale for 15% off this week, so it is under $20.

What a wonderful birthday round up! Your presents are wrapped and waiting for my husband to package them up and ship, so even though Starbuck's would only gift you on your birthday I've got you covered long after, lol!
ReplyDeleteI love your Easter dress and long vest and of course your outfits for the week are as cute as you! I'd love to recreate the white dress and vest though as that would be perfect for Florida this time of year.
Have the best weekend my friend!
Love ya!
Kellyann

ReplyDeleteIt look like you were celebrated to the max for your birthday which is exactly what you deserve!! I totally want that door mat!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a super sweet week being showered with love! You looked adorable on your bday...but that is too funny to see your bare legs and your momma all bundled up haha. I cannot believe you guys are still having such cold weather. Hope you continue the celebration all month long!

So many wonderful goodies! We were freezing on Easter too so I wore pants and a sweater... and a winter coat. I am going to have to look for that water. I love flavored water but hate the aftertaste so I was glad to read that this one doesn't have any.
ReplyDelete....there's more coming.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, you chic mamajama! You're gorgeous, and I'm glad you were spoiled silly because you deserve it! I love that you're bold enough for a bare leg even with the frigid temps - spring can't come fast enough! <3
ReplyDeleteSo much spoiling happening for your birthday - so deserved!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your Yeti! I use mine EVERY DAY! They are wonderful. I hadnt seen that coral color though - LOVE IT!!!!
I hate when Easter is so early in the season that you have to bundle up in a coat. UGHHH. Easter should be SPRING & sleeveless dresses & bare legs & COMFY in it.
Umm pear/cinnamon mimosas???? I didn't even know this was a thing and now I want one so bad! I have to laugh at the picture of you and your mom, it looks like you are dressed for completely different weather. Makes me smile :) Sometimes I am in denial about how it feels outside too. Something about dressing for the weather you want and not what you have. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got super spoiled from family, friends and bloggers this year. So many cute gifts! You deserve all the love in the world. Adore your brunch outfit and so brave of you to face the cold with a short dress. I can imagine you wishing for Spring and there your cute Mom is all bundled up for the ongoing winter. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope it warms up soon so you can make use of your new float! xo Emily @ Martinis & Bikinis
ReplyDeleteBrunch looks so scrumptious! I'm glad it was a nice birthday for you and next year sounds really exciting! Look at all of those beautiful gifts for a beautiful person :) I hope you have a great weekend! Sierra~Beautifully Candid
ReplyDeleteYou got some really cute gifts! I love the coral Yeti. I reqested a Coral Yeti Wine glass (yes they have those now) for my birthday. I got word that the coral is out of stock so I will be surprised at what color I will get. My birthday is a month away.
ReplyDeleteYou show off the prettiest little outfits. The red cardigan is the cutest! and I love rolled jeans with pointed pumps.
Hope you get some warm sun soon.
Lisa

For someone who considers herself Type A and organized, I sure dropped the ball on this one. I love your sweet mama's Easter attire. With age comes wisdom! I can not even begin to tell you how envious I am that you get a pool! I'm coming to your house😉Have a gorgeous weekend friend and hang in there. Spring is coming!!!! XOXO

Oh my sweet friend, thanks so much for your card to TP, he's over the moon happy with it, so thoughtful ABD it arrived on the same day as Kellyann's! But I'm beating myself up because I missed your birthday because of all the goings-on back home, so Happy Belated Birthday from us both.
ReplyDeleteSnow? 32f? Now, get back indoors and put something warm on those gorgeous legs of yours, young lady, that pretty dress is going to have to wait!
