My Five for Friday took awhile to narrow down. Lots of fun stuff this week. Don't ya just love when the week flies by getting you closer to the weekend and everything actually goes your way for a change.
You know simple stuff, like hitting all the green lights with no town detours, the newspaper being there on time, paying it forward at Starbucks, rain for new flowers, manicure still going strong with no broken nails, and cookies that turn out perfectly and eaten warm. Ahhh, that's a good week!
Here are five things I have especially loved this week:

Here are five things I have especially loved this week:
1. BLACK AND WHITE!
Work Attire and those laser cut handbags I adore. Love adding just a smidgen of color with a cardi or shoes.
Pamela over at Sequins & Sea Breeze
had a favorite fashion post for the week showcasing black and white with her "Mixed Spots" post featuring a Zara top that is to die for!!
2. Spring Tees in Full Bloom!
Warmer temps and rain have turned Indiana into a burst of color with all the crabapple, red bud and pear trees in full bloom. I am lucky to take in these beautiful sights near where I work.
3. CHICKEN CLUB BRUNCH RING!
This is about the only Pampered Chef inspired recipe I still make after all these years. It is a huge hit, very eye pleasing (and tummy pleasing) and is gobbled up first thing everywhere I take it. After a heavy Taco Tuesday, I decided to whip this up Wednesday night. I just used 1 roll of crescents instead of two and it was perfect.

These happen to be my favorite cookie. With peanut butter and no white flour and loaded up with oats, oh I just love them. What I do is take half the batch and freeze individually so I can take out one at a time for a treat now and then. Plan on having one this morning with my coffee. Oh the other half of the batch, well, the 4 "boys" in the house devour them. :)

5.MOM'S
Biana over at B Loved Boston had one of my favorite posts this week entitled "Things My Mom Taught Me". I could relate so much and agree that my mom is my best friend. Cherish your mothers, mother-in-laws, mom figures both here and gone. Cherish what they have given you and I trust much of the magnificent person you are comes from them.
ISN'T MY MAMA BEAUTIFUL & STYLISH!!!
I hope you all enjoy a wonderful weekend with all your favorite things and people and
that it is full of happiness and laughter.
