FRIDAY FAVORITES

It's winding down Loves. No worries, still time for beach days, sitting on the deck and lots of ice cream and frozen goodness. This week flew. First full week of kids back in school and I blinked and woke up to Friday. Yay! Weekend here we come! Make it a good and happy one and do something you LOVE!!

1. LUKE BRYAN EDITION YANKEE CANDLE

Hoping to recreate some of these darling outfits with cute hats.

3. WORK ATTIRE
Still hot friends, (except for yesterday) so still playing it cool so I can shed layers after work for errands and the drive home.

4. SWEET TREAT and A SAVORY SIDE
COTTON CANDY SANDWICH CREMES
 Remember I mentioned in my County Fair posts, my love of Cotton Candy? Well, I have found the perfect cookie. I love a shortbread cookie with frosting and this one is perfect! Not too sweet but all the cotton candy goodness in cookie form. The recipe link is below and the frosting mix and flavoring can be found at Wal-Mart or on Amazon.

TWICE BAKED POTATO CASSEROLE
This is a great Sunday Side Dish. Like, you'll want to lick the pan good!

5. BLINGIN' OWL
We came home to a lovely gift my mom had left. Look at this adorable owl she got at 
Pier One. I LOVE owls and to decorate for Fall, so this guy is perfect. Thanks sweet Mom!!

Bonus STARBUCKS Pumpkin Spice Trivia I heard this week:

*They are actually adding REAL Pumpkin in and not just pumpkin like spices.
*The caramel artificial coloring is out, thank goodness.
*Release Date: September 8th, the 4th in select stores.
Oh and Starbucks is going to start selling alcohol! I'll take a shot of 
Bailey's in my PSL please!!

SHORT SLEEVE SNIPPETS

I know several of you are ready for Fall and it is most definitely on the radar. However, Summer is still in our backyard and my office can be hot, so I realized I have several short sleeve outfit pics. I usually try to take a picture of each work outfit but don't always use them all. However, I thought why not do a lil post on some of the short sleeve tops I haven't shared yet. Plus, for the first time in 6 months I have a "What to Post?" moment. As I post this, it is actually 56 degrees out with a high of 72! I cannot believe it, so I may wear long sleeves today. Ha! I know mother nature is just fooling me, high 80's next week.

CALLING ALL CAMO

A couple of months ago, I featured one of my favorite pairs of pants  
"CAMO COOL" from the Loft in a Post! 

I adore how versatile and fun they are. I decided to feature my only other Camo item (besides some old beloved capris). 



This jacket is also from the Loft. Side note, the Loft really does Camo well, not too in your face prints. I think I'll enjoy this jacket in the Spring too. However, it is the perfect Fall throw on. It looks great with jeans, but I think I think it will look even better with some colored denim, especially a burgundy.

For some reason, I like gold jewelry with Camo and neutral bags like this Coach Satchel and I.N.C. shoes. 

I just did a simple white tank underneath since temps are still warm.
