I CALL THIS MY REESE PLAID

I got this plaid pretty Dress on October’s Blogger Trip to Nashville. I think we all had our sights on making it to our beloved Reese Witherspoon’s store, Draper James. This preppy store playing old school country did not disappoint. The first thing to happen was the super sweet sales associate asking us all if we’d like some sweet tea? Why, of course we did.

The peppy preppy feels had me jonesing to find something cute. And this dress was my fabulous find. A great transitional piece...with boots and perhaps a cardigan now, tights added in the Winter and sandals in the Summer. Huge win, great fit and precious plaid.

I could hardly wait to style it for today’s fashion prompt which is plaid and stripes. Until I got this dress, my plan was a subtle striped top, cardigan and plaid blanket scarf but this dress changed all that as this was the plaid piece I wanted to share. Question was, what stripe to pair with it? Not to take away from the cuteness of the dress, I decided on a simple striped headband. And while booties would work with this dress, I really felt my slouchy boots paired with it best.

We got lucky with these photos as it was a fabulous Fall day and the burning bushes by our home were in full bloom!

FRIDAY FAVORITES..OCTOBER DON'T GO

Happy Happy Friday! Well, I gotta tell ya, this week has been one of the most uneventful of the year! We didn’t even win the lottery. Lol. I really don’t mind a bit about either, just going with the sweet flow of life! However, I do hate to see October go. I do hope you’re happy it’s Friday and looking forward to whatever you’re doing this weekend, big or small!

1. BOOTS & More BOOTS
Oh my goodness, boots make me a little crazy, so many styles, so much goodness. I’ve found a little bit boot crazy as you may remember from the two in last Friday’s post. The Sorel Boots are a gift from Mr. Nine. I was browsing Nordstrom‘s website, looking at boots, when he looked over my shoulder and saw these. He said “I really like those, get em’! So I did, took them on our trip and love. (and they are waterproof) The Tassel Cognac Boots are another Target win and so fun! I love these Tassel Ones too. And I am crazy for these Tassel Uggs. 2. Fall Finds....Now Holiday Finds

I must admit, I went shopping this week and bought some Christmas decor. So I’m probably going to start showing you some holiday finds. This pink Naughty/Nice PILLOW is a huge under $20 win and it goes with my glam space decor so well! Now, which side to showcase???

This has got to be one of my all-time favorite outfits and wore it last Friday to begin our trip. These are the Slouchy Boots I was telling you about Last Friday from Target. They were so comfy and such a great price. The fuzzy vest and tunic by Lush were both from Dry Goods.

5. Misc. Fun
1st Sectional Game

Look at our #9 with the ball. A little emotional tonight as it is the first game of the sectional but may very well be the last football game our #9 ever plays in if they lose. They play a team they upset in sectional last year but let me tell ya, that team is GOOD. Hoping for the best and I’m getting popcorn, lol!

FRIDAY FAVORITES...SWEATER WEATHER

Finally temps all week have been sweater weather cooperating. Football bye week for our boy and Notre Dame, So I am super excited for a fun adventure with my Mr. Nine. I know you’ve probably seen my first official Insta Flat Lay but why I’m including it in the blog and why I am so excited is because American Eagle contacted me and asked to use it. What really is funny is that I didn’t even tag them til a couple days after it posted because well, I’m a newbie but pretty cool. And since so many of you loved this sweater, I’m linking it for ya! It is just the best color but I’m pondering done others as well because it is the greatest Fall essential!

I want to go Whoa, Wait, Big Lots!!! Yep, I had not been in a Big Lots in years but wow, have they amped up their game. So many cute seasonal things including this adorable easel sign. Can’t decide it I want it inside or outside?
