I LOVE MY CROCKPOT!!

There's a reason why crock-pot recipes are all over Pinterest. They are easy and easy clean-up too! I happen to own 4 of them but this damask is my favorite, design wise and size.
I think if I lived somewhere that we could get more fresh fish and sushi, I'd hardly use it and I really never do in the warmer months as we like lighter and grilled foods.
I do cook a lot of crock-pot recipes in the winter. Something about them just warms the soul. However, this time a year is great too if your busy with Spring Sports or having unpredictable weather. 80 one day, 50 the next. That 50 calls for a warm chili or roast. With baseball season, sometimes we really need dinner ready before the game.
Here are my top five but I have several others and I always welcome a good, new one.
Excited to LINK this older post of mine up with Crocktober

 1. Chunky  Sausage Chili

I use Butterball turkey smoked sausage in this and I actually like it so much more then regular smoked sausage. It has a great flavor. This is hearty and delicious!

  2. Jennie's Heavenly Chicken

You can serve this over many things like noodles or mashed potatoes. We prefer rice and like to serve with warm bread-sticks from the oven to dip in the sauce left in the crock-pot.

3. Amazing Pork Tenderloin

What it looks like in the crock, before cooking, make sure to keep minced garlic on top.

I like to serve this with green beans, mashed potatoes or a cheesy potato casserole.
This is a great Sunday meal.

 4. Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Another one to serve over rice, potatoes or noodles. Again, we prefer rice. This serving is with white rice but I have pretty much switched over to nothing but brown rice.

5. Pulled Pork Roast

This is so yummy. After you shred it, be sure to add some of the juice, then add your favorite BBQ sauce, we prefer Sweet Baby Rays. Besides sandwiches, I like to make BBQ baked potatoes and put a scoop of this along with cheese and sour cream on top of the potatoes.
