SEQUINS, VELVET & BOWS, OH MY!

Sharing some Holiday outfit inspiration for you even if there are not parties and Christmas shindigs to be had. You can still snazzy up a bit and feel good. Especially when it involves sequins, velvet and bows!!

SEQUINS

I have always been a sucker for sequins but I don’t own very many and it’s safe to say that aren’t a whole lot of sequin occasions around here, especially this year. But when I saw this little puff sleeve number from the Mint Julep Boutique, I knew that was the only sequin piece I needed. It could be paired with jeans, black, even a pretty skirt. It’s  not too heavy and  just the right amount of rose gold bling. I love this one too!

I found these darling Rose Gold Heels from Lulus online and they went with the top perfectly and at such a good price point. This is a great way to feel jazzed up a little bit, even at home! Maybe I’ll wear this to the cocktail party I’m having next year that I mentioned to y’all, LOL!

VEVELET

Va Va Va velvet. A velvet classic blazer is a timeless piece that can be dressed up or down. And when there’s beautiful signature embroidery on one from Caite and Kyla, well, the entire velvet game is elevated so beautifully.

I thought it looked so cute just without anything underneath and a cool cross statement necklace, my champagne pleated skirt and some Booties! It’s going to look great with jeans as well!

BOWS

And who can resist bows! This outfit was already festive enough but the Bow Heels in rich suede just took it up a notch. I got this Lauren Conrad Sweater from Kohl’s because I had a picture scenario in my mind standing under the mistletoe with Mr. Nine. Well, I cannot find my darn mistletoe so instead Mr. Nine just took a few snapshots for me and kissed me before hand, LOL!

I got this Red Pleated Skirt last year from Amazon, it’s available in so many different colors, I love the way it flows, it’s lined and extremely good quality, a piece that I will keep in my closet and pull out every Christmas season!

FRIDAY FAVORITES....SWEET SUMMER

Summer officially arrives on the calendar tomorrow and we’re going to kick it off in style! Now listen here Mother Nature, keep that rain away! We are planning a family day out with the kids and their girlfriends including a picnic, live music outside at a winery and maybe some miniature golf at a local distillery and whatever else the lower Lake Michigan adventure brings us! Masks are ready to go, picnic basket packed, and outfit picked out, lol.

1. First Restaurant Since Covid-19
I can’t believe it, but we actually did it, we ate out for the first time since COVID-19 began. Now, granted it was dining alfresco by a lake, at 50% spacing but it just felt good to get served food and bask in the open air! Now, we had to go to another county to do this, I’m not sure I feel comfortable yet doing it in my own county as numbers are rising. On the way home, it was hats on, windows down, moon roof open and just cruising with the air in our hair!

2. The YETI Bartender
"Pomegranate Martini"
YUM! This week’s YETI Bartender was inspired by my favorite drink at Ruth’s Chris steak House! Every year, right before Christmas break ends, we go as a family to Ruth’s Chris and my mom and I always get pomegranate martinis! I was able to replicate it here and I hope you will check it out on my YouTube CHANNEL!

3. Week's Attire
LOFT PEPLUM

4. HEY TIGER
Isn’t it funny, how ever since Tiger King, tiger graphic tees and sweatshirts have got so popular! The funny thing is, I had bought this We the Free tank top before I even watched Tiger King! I love the way it looks with the champagne pleated skirt and sneakers!

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES and MEMES
Instead of just doing all funny Memes, I opted for a couple motivational quotes as well. This first one is such a good one. Please ladies, be all inclusive and kind and teach your daughters especially to do the same in this day and age!

MY ROSES
Walking past those “nine” rosebushes, the fragrance is intoxicating! I absolutely love them!
