FRIDAY FAVORITES...IN THE GARAGE EDITION

This has been one of the busiest weeks of the year thus far! And it’s not stopping anytime soon because today is the first day of my big garage sale! I had some friends and family come Wednesday and yesterday but today will be packed and it is always a tiring yet fun day! 

1. Proud Mama of Entrepreneurs and Scholar Athletes
My sweet boys, always something to be proud of. 

My two college boys are totally entrepreneurs and very into business and making money! They have developed a website store where they will be selling men’s accessories like watches, sunglasses, hats etc. They have been working hard on it and it looks so professional, plus it will be great on a resume when they get out of college. I will be sharing details when it is up and running. It’s called RealWorld accessory.

This guy on the left, is wrapping up his senior year and was awarded the scholar athlete award for baseball! I just cannot believe the regular school years are coming to an end!

2. Lambo Love
Our boys have absolutely always been crazy about Lamborghinis! So, it was funny when we saw this yellow one sitting in the middle of a parking lot with nothing around it after Sunday brunch. I was told it was my Mother’s Day present, but in actuality, it really just matched my earrings! And truth be told, they are cool, but I love my vehicle so much better!

Isn’t this slinky black dress with pockets just amazing and so fun! Of course, it is from Amazon, and under 20 bucks. It is fun to knot at the bottom and this one looks so cute with a Jean jacket or a cardigan.

FRIDAY FAVORITES....in the GARAGE EDITION

You know where I am right now? In the garage taking in some dough. Yep, it's the first of two Garage sales this Summer before we move. Can you believe I am selling 30 pairs of my shoes? Wish you could all come. So, I apologize now if I am not commenting as much as normal today. It gets little nuts round here on sale day. People in these parts love em'!

In fact I did a whole post called last year called Garage Sale 101 as it is always quite successful but a lot of work. It'll be a fun, busy day. Wishing you the BEST Friday and fun and SWEET weekend ahead!

1. A Day at the Round Barn
We try to make it a point to get to the Round Barn Winery every year and had not been this year. My mom reminded me it as country music weekend so we said, Why not!!

 That is a vodka lemonade slushy with a sangria topper...so refreshing!

Before we filled up on bevy's, we opted for an outdoor meal at The Clean Plate club 10 minutes from the winery. That's a veggie scramble on top of friend green tomatoes with chipotle sauce...so GOOD!!

Great band named "Gussied Up" from Chicago came in and played pop hits with a country spin and old school country  

Look at the Giant Jenga..and of course how my nail polish matches my drink, lol.

And earlier this week, I showed you my pretty Shades of Blue top. This blue was almost identical and the dress so comfy from Old Navy.

2. Gifts from sweet Bloggy Friends!

I've said it a million times, but blogging friends are truly something special. We really couldn't do our thing on the bog ole net without each other. My life has been blessed with the most amazing woman all over the world. I was super lucky to get packages this week from two of them who I adore with all my heart!
Shelly from The Queen In Between thought of me when she saw this darling watermelon lunch bag...perfect of this lunch to work toting gal!! Her words of sweetness made my week and we are so honored she is the newest sister at The Blended Blog!!

The ever sweet and Talented Nicole of Nick and Nicole + 4 sent me this goodness. I cannot wait to show you what is inside and tell you more about Nicole! The contents of this precious package will be revealed on July 27th when The Blended Blog ladies and I do our Christmas in July Post showing off our gift exchange.

5. Misc. Fun
Pom Pom Blanket 
I have had my eye on this blanket from Meijer and thought they were sold out but they re-stocked and it was on sale. Plan on throwing it over a plush couch in my new office/craft space at the new house. LOVE the pom poms but I'll probably call it my "Ball Blanket" lol 

Shower Tile
Well, we are over budget on tile and flooring but Mr. Nine is thinking I can keep the waterfall tile in the Master Shower. This is exactly what it will look like.

FRIDAY FAVORITES....In The Garage Edition

Happy Friday! Guess where you'll find me all day? In the garage..yep, where I have been most of the week as today is the first day of my BIG Garage Sale. It's always a hit and we have lots of fun!! This weekend is jammed packed as tomorrow is our school's PROM for two of our handsome guys. Keeping fingers crossed for glorious weather!! Wish me luck, this garage sale is paying for Grad Open house Paaaar-taaay!!! Also a big THANK YOU for the love and other insight regarding

 1. Garage Days..
....are coffee days. (but champagne nights, lol) Isn't this tee from Express just the cutest!! (sold out online but still in select stores). 
Just had to have (Blogger Blame) it when I saw on KATE over at Green Fashionista.
She styled it so cutely with a darling necklace but I was just plain Jane getting my garage sale ready yesterday. 

2. Sunday Funday
It finally happened last weekend and Mother Nature gave moms a gift and it was a gorgeous day. We took mom up to one of our favorite beach towns for a Mother's day lunch at a restaurant called The Stray Dog where they have the best fish tacos and Mr. Nine decided to be Captain for the day, lol! Gee maybe I should've called this the Taco edition, lol.

Last week I did a fashion post on this Bell Sleeve Top from F21 and it got me craving them some more. A reader mentioned she loved the 3/4 length of these so she didn't get the sleeves caught on things, great point. For me, I like the flow of them too.

5. Tacos on the Brain
Think I can eat tacos in the garage? On Tuesday I showed you one of our family's favorite taco recipes: Asian Chicken Soft Tacos HERE
