SUNSET DRESS

I knew the minute I saw this beautiful Ombré dress that it reminded me of the sunset and that it would need to go on vacation with me! Unfortunately, the night I wore it, the sunset wasn’t really spectacular but the dress sure was! These pictures that Mr. Nine got really highlight how beautiful the colors are.

This dress by Leith has it all! Beautiful pleats, the perfect color flow and a fabulous twirl factor! Perfect for an evening dining alfresco! It’d be a great dancing dress too!

My Sugarfix by BaubleBar coral leaf earrings from Target matched the coral in it perfectly! A simple wedge sandal was the only other thing the dress needed.

NOTHING BUT GREEN! AND ROYALTY!

Hi all. I’ll be honest, I had nothing for today. I’m still in a glorious royal wedding fog. I was going to write about that but my words wouldn’t do it justice. I was going to do a “Things on my Mind” Post but the positivity in me keeps me from ranting. Lol. I was going to do a weekend recap but to be honest it was very quiet at "Chateau Nine" as my friend Mary calls it. Don’t know how excited you’d be to hear about falling asleep while watching the Black Panther, cozy on the couch watching royalty, making Mississippi Mud roast, Blueberry Streusel Muffins, had a photo shoot in our mosquito laden woods after a rain for a Fairytale theme FAB 40’s post next Monday (you don’t want to Miss that) and a date trip to Lowe’s for stepping pavers and dinner at Taco Bell? So, what’s a Lifestyle/Food/Fashion blogger to do? Pull out a cute outfit.

Here’s the story! This Wednesday theme for TBB’s Link-Up post is Spring Sweaters. I got 2 of these 1901 brand beauties as I couldn’t decide which color combo to keep so after you see Wednesday’s, I let you be the judge which one you like best. I was going to save the green one for Friday but it was soooo good, I pulled it out for today.

First up is this bright green gem. I knew white jeans would be the ticket to go with this and can you believe my Old Navy lace up sandals matched perfectly? And greens are tough to match. I thought it looked so cute with my favorite colorful pom straw clutch.

Last year I showcased this darling green and white striped shirt in my post Sleeves and Stripes! I think the key with stripes is to either keep it super simple to add in a fun element like bell sleeves or these darling ruffles.

These sweaters are soft and smooth as butta!!! And ruffle details seal the deal! I’m excited for you to see Wednesday’s color combo. Right now I’m at 50/50 on the two. Cant wait to see what you guys think?

Well sweet pals, I guess my nothing turned into something, lol. And as I continue to have my heart quite warm from the royal nuptials, I am going to share my “9 Favorite Royal Wedding Moments!” I hope you too loved seizing this lovely event. I didn’t have any crumpets or scones but I did have tea and Biscoff biscuit cookies, lol.

1. Meghan and her mom’s exciting ride to the church and the couple’s carriage ride after.
2. Harry and William walking in their military uniforms to Windsor.
3. Meghan’s DRESS and that train!
4. All the children holding hands behind her.
5. The open seat in memory of Princess Diana. (rumored to not be true but I am going to pretend it was for her!)
6. The beautiful rendition of Stand By Me.
7. Her bouquet with flowers Harry picked from their garden including Diana’s Favorite: Forget Me Nots.
8. Her stunning white halter dress for the evening festivities.
And my FAVORITE moment of all:
9. Harry wiping away genuine tears during the ceremony!!

They were beyond precious and they lived out the
Fairytale for us all!

May the love in Harry and Meghan’s eyes shine on us all this week and just remember: when you think you’ve got “nothing,” you’ll always find something in your heart or your closet, lol.

SPREAD THE LOVE GIFT REVEAL

Talk about a FUN exchange. This is one of my favorite things we’ve done as A Blended Blog Group and that is this Spread the Love gift exchange. Who doesn’t love giving and getting tokens of love and spreading good cheer. I have been so excited to gush about the gal I exchanged with as I have come to know and love her to pieces.

Chrissy from Granola and Grace has the best style. She often shows off her fun and playful side and throws in some edge for good measure. Her jewelry collection (Well she is a Premier Designs consultant) is to be envied and I am making it a bucket list goal of mine to go to Altar'd State with her at least once. Ok, twice!!

This girl is as wowed as I am by the Grace our God gives. She inspires me to be stronger in my walk with him. She won a Cupcake a Day for a year from her local bakery called Splat and gave most of them away, just some of her many gracious acts of kindness. Her family reminds me so much of mine; silly, loving and oh so handsome! Yep Chrissy is surrounded testosterone too! A sweet hubby and 4 precious boys to my 3 and her boys are too her photographers for her fashion posts. From my interaction with Chrissy she is totally loyal which I look for in a friend and I’m here to tell ya she’d do anything for you. The REAL DEAL my friends!

Just Look how Beautiful she is!!

THE GOODS
Chrissy nailed my style, colors and fashion LOVE to a “T”! With this being an exchange of love, I shaped the gorgeous furry scarf in a heart as soon as I look it out of the box! Packages on your doorstep are just the BEST!!

A week after receiving this cuteness, I saw this hat on clearance at Wal-Mart for $3, yes, the perfect blush floppy for $3!! Plus, it reminds of something Chrissy might style too. These shoes had been on order form Nordstrom and I think I literally screamed out load when I saw they were a perfect match! And still in love with my High waisted Levi's!

And Look Chrissy got another and styled the gorgeous scarf too, look how pretty she is in Blush and that tulle, LOVE that tulle. See her in 2 more CUTE Tulle ensembles HERE and HERE
