AMAZON AND THE SPRING THINGS

Already time for the monthly Amazon Finds with Tanya and it’s a goodie. Hope you all had a sweet Easter weekend and are ready to shop!

1. The Pink Stuff

Spring often means more cleaning on the brain so these first two items I saw on the Today show and are awesome additions to your cleaning products. I don’t know exactly what this Pink Stuff is, but it gets stuff extra clean! Great for tough stains.

2. Coffee Pot Cleaning Tabs
I know most of us probably clean our coffee pots or Keurig pots with vinegar but no matter how many times I run cycles through, I still feel like I smell the vinegar. Enter these Coffee Pot Cleaning Tabs! So easy and no vinegar smell.

3. Colorful Dress
I shared this Dress on my Instagram color share a couple weeks ago and it’s so pretty! It flows nicely, is very forgiving, true to size and the color mix is just lovely!

4. Megaphone
Just because it’s fun and you never know when you might need a Megaphone! I’ve already used mine a couple times. It’s very inexpensive, uses batteries comes in several colors!

5. Chanel Coffee Table Book
THE Ultimate Coffee Table Book with great photos.
Fabulous Gift Idea!!

6. Swimsuit

I LOVE this suit and I am not fond of a one piece unless they are VERY flattering. My mom got and I tried it and loved it!! And this one is still one of my favorite bathing suit purchases from Amazon and I know I’ll be wearing it more again this year! I just love the Polka Dots

7. Beach Hat
Everyone needs the perfect Beach Hat, and this is it!

8. Beach Tote
What a cool Beach Tote! Nice and sturdy; roomy and will hold a lot and match any summer attire!

9.Premier Protein New Flavor

It’s no secret how much I love these Premier Protein Shakes and I even talked about them in This Post and how they help me to lose weight. But there’s a new flavor in town and I wasn’t sure anything could surpass my beloved cafĂ© latte, but this chocolate peanut butter is so darn good!

Happy Shopping my LOVES!!!

A WEE BIT WHIMSY

I don’t really know what to call this outfit, but I know I feel a little bit like Madonna I’m it! And I love me some material girl, especially in the 80s. Is it whimsy? Is it retro? Is it too crazy for me? I’m not sure but I truly think that this dress is gorgeous.

The tulle sleeves and three-dimensional face front with the hair bows really give it that extra punch. Plus, it is extremely soft and extremely comfortable! It will be perfect for spring/summer. And in true Andrea fashion, I had to literally match my accessories with the graphic, LOL! And bring in some anklet sock love!

Plus, since this came from good old Amazon, you can bet your bottom dollar it is a fantastic price but looks and feels way more expensive. Those are the kinds of items I like on Amazon, the ones that offer so much more than the fabulous price, High quality and super cuteness even more so in person.

 Graphic Close-up

Often times, I’m asked to review items for Amazon, and I don’t want to share them on the blog because when I receive them, I am not that impressed. However, you can bet the ones I fall love with, you will see here or on my Instagram

YUMI KIM FOR THE WIN

Yumi Kim for the win! And with a word like “Yumi,” you know it’s going to be good! This is a favorite brand of mine that I often forget about. I was super tickled when a local influencer friend of mine, shared on Instagram, that one of my favorite Yumi Kim styles was on major sale for the holidays. Mr. Nine was so sweet and gracious to get it for me and I knew the minute I saw it, that I would wear it to our annual family steak dinner this past Friday!

I think a high neck is again, so classy and I love the ruching at the top. The slight balloon sleeves and tier at the bottom add more sweet femininity. The pattern with blush, mahogany and a lil blue, white & green on the matte black makes for the most beautiful floral pattern! AND THIS DRESS is 50% off right now!

I knew I would want fairly simple accessories but I wanted to add a little bling with the coin belt and some blush statement earrings. A plain pair of tights is always best with a floral and I added my beloved sock booties.

I don’t know about where you’re at, but in my neck of the woods, the weather sucks for trying to get pictures for the blog. It was a rainy, dreary and dark night when we attempted these, thank goodness for the front porch and a flash. I’m also a little sad because now it’s back to the tripod by myself since my photographer sons have headed back to school. my phone camera isn’t working right either so I am waiting on Mr. Nine to upgrade me, LOL! Continual challenges that make me ask myself why am I still blogging? All in good fun I suppose.

THE BEST DAY

I’m back and yes, up to my ears in laundry and to do’s but before I have our Lake Michigan vacation recap ready for you, I at least wanted to share our favorite day; our best day of the trip. The first full day of our trip was last Sunday, and it also happened to be Mr. Nine’s Birthday!

The above pic was from the sidewalk I walk to get to the bakery.

Of course, we started the day off with a bakery run. Well "I" ran walked to the bakery and brought back the goods.

Then it was time to work off the doughnuts with a hike. There are soooo many hiking trails in Northern Michigan. Baldy Trail is the perfect hike. Trail in woods up to dunes and an amazing overlook of Lake Michigan. Someone had even created a miniature gnome home at the base of a tree in the middle of the hike.

The views are spectacular.

So much FUN!!

The Wildflowers were gorgeous!

We went down a few lanes to take a look at different lakes. There are 33 alone in the county where we stay. Down one little lane was the CUTEST lemonade stand. It was decorated so precious, just look at the sign. The sweet little lemonade seller was even wearing yellow.

Lunchtime! We went to a highly recommended spot called the L'Chayim Deli. Great croissant sandwich!

Next it was time for some beach Badminton! Last year we got the most fabulous portable badminton set. It’s under $30 and we love it! It didn't get great reviews but we'd give it 5 stars. it's Perfect. It Folds down to a neat little portable carry set, even holding all the rackets. Mr. Nine and I won one game, but the boys were the champs winning the series.

Next it was time for Mr. Nine to open all the birthday presents we brought him. He had a boat load to open. This is a favorite whiskey that I surprised him with from out loves distiller in a bag made of old recycled whiskey barrels.

His choice for dinner was the Iron Fish Distillery. It’s out in the boonies and we just love it there. Outdoor entertainment, great cocktails, wood fired pizzas and all kinds of games. Of course, we played some corn hole and once again got beat by the kids, lol. Our favorite pizza was called the “sassage” and I loved that many of the cocktail specials were made with fresh strawberries since it’s strawberry season up there.

What I wore to dinner....

On the way back, one of the boys suggested Ice cream and we were all in. Next to our own town’s ice cream shop, our vacation town’s is 2nd best and so cute. I love that they have kiddie cones! The perfect size for me. They’re lemon custard is to die for.

Lake Michigan sunsets cannot be beat! We made it back lakeside just in time for one of the prettiest of the week. It went from orange hues to cotton candy. Spectacular!

Such a great day with our sweet fam and what a way to celebrate the guy who makes these fabulous vacations possible!

We didn’t get many photos of the 4 of us on this trip but I did pull out the remote for this evening, but we were laughing so hard at my clicks, this was the best one, lol.

It's the little days like this that make life Grand!
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK SWEET FRIENDS!
