This Fall, I have loved a good golden hue. A few weeks ago, I told you about the skirt I had ordered from Amazon for family pictures. I was really worried how the skirt with a look, but it is phenomenal. It’s an elastic waist band and not only comes with a black belt but a chiffon sash in the same color. Since I tied the front of this denim shirt, I opted not to even use the sash and I love the way it turned out. Today, our fashion prompt at TBB is holiday looks and I thought since I wore this for our holiday family Christmas card pictures this past weekend that it was the perfect outfit to showcase. A great price that packs a fabulous festive punch!
AND it's What's Up Wednesday too!
Can’t wait to get out Christmas cards, which many of you will be receiving. Then, you can see how I coordinated Mr. Nine’s and our 3 boy’s outfits.
Now, time for some What's Up in the Nine neck of the woods
1. WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK: More like what am I baking: Lot's of my Christmas goods, namely cookies...lol...OH AND I realized I have never shared my sweepstakes wining PB Fudge with you. I make 4 batches of it so I will share soon.
CINNAMON TOFFEE OATMEAL COOKIES
2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT: Next Tuesday, this guy turns 21. Precious then and my sweetheart as an adult now. He'll always be my baby!!
3. WHAT I’M LOVING: The Festive Spirit all around and the snow we have gotten. And lights, all the lights, we have 16 lit trees and I counted 9 more things with battery lights.
Love my champagne colored deer head in the dining room.
4.WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO: Installed a security system and it is loud!
5. WHAT I’M DREADING: Nada
6. WHAT I’M WORKING ON: Gathering addresses for Christmas Cards, Baking, WRAPPING Presents, Growing my INSTAGRAM. Man it's exhausting but oh so addicting.
7. WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT: Going to visit the Birthday boy at college and celebrate. AND pretty much excited everyday for Christmas.
8. WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING: All the shows like Manifest, Chicago's, Notre Dame football (12-0 baby) and we're binging "The 100"

ReplyDeleteYour gold skirt was a great find. I'm hesitant to buy things like that on Amazon--you've proven it can be done. Congrats on your "little one" turning 21! P.S. Not that I would have that many trees, but most of our decor is packed it feels a bit lonely with only one 9 ft. tree here, boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning in that skirt. I can't wait to show mine off. Though mine is sort of wrinkly in the photos since I had to keep grabbing it to pull it up since we were in sand dunes for our photos. LOVE YOUR LOOK!
