Green Bean Casserole
move on over. Eek, you’re being replaced by This broccoli concoction sure to
please the masses and I’ll bet even those who are not broccoli fans. This is sooo easy, like 5 ingredients and while I only eat this kind of stuff like once a year, it'll make for a nice Easter or Sunday dinner side for sure! Take it to a pot luck and watch em' devour it! It's easy to double batch too! And a great way to get your broccoli!

BROCCOLI CHEDDAR CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS
1 (10 ¾oz can) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 ½ cups sharp, cheddar cheese, divided
1 can (6oz) French friend onions, divided
2 packages (16oz each) frozen broccoli florets, thawed
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a large saucepan, combine the
soup, sour cream, 1 cup of the cheese and 2/3 of the can of French fried
onions, heating over medium heat, stirring until blended about 5 minutes. Stir
in the broccoli and transfer mixture to a greased 2qt baking dish. Bake
uncovered for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the remaining
cheese and then the remaining onions. Bake until the cheese has melted, about 10
more minutes. Serves 6-8.

ReplyDeleteThis literally is my favorite food. Especially at the holidays. I can eat the entire pan. I'm always like, you meat eaters, dig into your ham/turkey - give me this pan of cheesy broccoli for my holiday treat :)
