HAPPY FRI-YAY!!!! It's still Summer but we are already back in the stands for Friday Night Lights. Last Friday was super exciting because our High School Football field was dedicated and is the only one in our county with turf. It's so beautiful it doesn't even look real. The company said it is the most beautiful one they have ever done. The boys took the field for the first time and came away with the "W"! Hope you have sweet plans this weekend, ours include more football and a day trip to our beloved Lake Michigan area to see what shenanigans we can get into.
1. This GUY
With his brothers gone off to college, it's all on this guy and while I know he misses them, he is pretty excited to be spoiled and an only. So proud of him. He is a sophomore and will see Varsity and JV time so expect a lot of football in our future!!
Scrimmage night with his girl and another NINE boy get the #9!

This field was hand stitched, which is amazing and we were in awe of the process as we drove by week after week. It's so cool, it doesn't even look real.
2. Olive
I'm telling ya, The "IT" color of the season.

4. Our First Outing as 3
Last Saturday the three of us really needed to go have some fun as missing the other two. We headed over to the Evil Czech Brewery and the Lounger Movie Theater to see "War Dogs" and had a ball.
Most amazing concoction ever!! The owners Mother's own recipe. Used to get this on a plate in slice form but in a can is sooo much better. Not like a cake at all but more like a soft mouss-y cheesecake~delicious!!
The Carne Asada Chicken Tacos----joy!!

Good morning my fabulous Indiana Sister Friend! Can I just say I want to come up and watch football at that high school field! WOW! I haven't been to a high school game in three years (when my little brother played.) I love those Friday nights. YAY for a family of three outing and the fact the baby gets all that attention from mama and daddy! I think we need to go eat at that place when I'm up (hehe that would rock!) Thank you for those pumpkin spice reviews - girl I'm no quite ready for it. I'll have to wait until after Labor Day, if that's alright! Happiest weekend sweetie! Love ya! xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteFootball!! Eek!! Can't wait! Alise cheers at her first game next Thursday! And Bama plays Saturday! Can life get any sweeter?! Y'alls field is GORGEOUS! Some of our public schools here have turf; our private school does not. :) Okay and I always thought that olive was not for me, but you have so convinced me to at least try it!! I was totally all smiles when I saw your maxi skirt this week. Can you believe I finally wore one this week for the first time this summer?! You Nines have an AWESOME weekend! Go Redhawks!!
ReplyDeleteAwww look at your handsome football player! I am sure he wont mind being spoiled the next few years on his own :) That is a gorgeous stadium! I am so glad football season is back up and going! Yay! One more weekend til college ball too! I love Olive, it is pretty much flattering on everyone! That off the shoulder piece is to die for. ReplyDeletePumpkin spice Cheerios and Special K?! That's it, I will never eat anything else for breakfast ever again! Ha! I love that he got number 9! I bet opposing team fans are so confused. Like, "Why does it say Nine instead of his last name?" Ha!
ReplyDeleteAmen for football and pumpkin everything! I posted about fall today, too! I'm DYING to decorate the house, but I'm trying to hold off until 9/1... only a few more days! Happy weekend, Andrea!

Oh my word, there's a lot of goodness in this post. All of the food is tempting but I'm needing to lose a few pounds so my olive clothes will fit just right. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch fun to see your pumpkin flavored foods reviewed. I will be on the lookout for the pumpkin Special K. Great way to start my day. Your mama is cute as a bug's ear. Obviously she has your same adorable figure and sense of style!

I love the color olive . . . such a great fall color! And yes to pumpkin things . . . but I'm more of a pumpkin pie and less of a pumpkin pie flavor girl although I do love a pumpkin latte in the fall! Hope you had a great weekend!
