My Birthday was Wednesday, and I could have done a big ole post with 54 reasons I love life or 54 lessons I’ve learned but that’s just too much! I’m simply grateful. I’m grateful for so much, to take another breath, to walk this life with a heart of love, to enjoy simple things in life and most importantly those I love. God gave us all a gift to explore this place called Earth, embrace the blessing of life and the older I get, the more I seize it! Now, with age comes sadness, pain and grief but the joy grows too and with that coupled by love, we know those things don’t last in their depths forever.
A huge joy I had to kick off my birthday week last weekend was a day with Mr. Nine, my mama, one son, his gal and my greatest Joys: the twins. We went to Michigan to an interactive museum, a carousel and had pizza at a favorite beach pizza joint. Great day despite still feeling little under the weather and Just missing the out-of-town kiddos.

And my 2nd birthday fell on Easter. My mom made me a bunny cake and my Auntie was in town to help me blow out the candles. Fun Fact: my next Easter birthday will be on my 80th God Willing! And then again on my 85th, lol.
More about Arizona next week but reminder to come back Monday for our Amazon Link Up! I've got some great finds for warmer weather.
Yeehaw!! Cheers to another
54 years! lol.

ReplyDeleteHappy, happy birthday. Looks like you had a blast. Birthdays are a big deal to me, not that I have to have a celebration, just I never work on my birthday and others always say “It’s just another day” mmm no it’s not. Rita
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Looks like a nice one!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Andrea! May all your wishes come true!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you! No way are you 54! I thought you were in your late 40's at the most! It sounds like you have had a great celebration and how lovely to spend time with family.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos!
Happy Birthday! Looking forward to hearing about your trip. Aren't April birthdays neat? They can fall on Good Friday and Easter! One year when I was a kid, my BD fell on Good Friday and then it's fallen on it once when I was an adult a couple of years ago, it fell on Easter for the first time! Mine will fall again on Easter when I'm in my 80's lol. I'm glad your birthday was a blast!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to 54! It looks like a great birthday and glad you can extend the celebrations this week and weekend!
I was in Sedona for a day last April for a work trip for Brian. All the spouses went on a day trip there and we did a pink jeep tour through the mountains. It was SO cool. Hope you are enjoying the trip! Happy Birthday!
