I’m going to continue as normal with monthly Amazon posts but now with a twist, calling this the COVID-19 edition…things you may need or want during this time. And I do want you to know my feelings on deliveries. Of course I don’t want anything coming from overseas, but if it’s from a warehouse here, AND PRIME, I let the box sit on my porch for 24 hours, then I bring it in with gloves, open it up and take out the contents, then discard the cardboard and disinfect where it was sitting and wash my hands. While I’m not ordering even a fraction of what I normally do, I do think deliveries can be safe if you do your part and it keeps these people in business!
Disposable Gloves
If you buy anything at all during this pandemic, these are the best things you can get if you’re planning on going to the grocery store. I also put them on to bring in packages, go and get the mail, etc..just pull them off inside out and throw them out.

Metatarsal Foot Pad Sleeves
If you see my walk and talk on Instagram Stories , you may have seen that I was having some trouble with my left foot metatarsal area, these foot pad sleeves, put on under my socks and my tennis shoes are a lifesaver! Highly recommended!
Old Wisconsin Turkey Snack Sticks
My boys absolutely love these turkey snack sticks and so do I, low cal and no carbs but high protein! Our local grocery stopped carrying them so now I’m so excited I can get a huge box of them on Amazon which is so much cheaper anyway!
HighKey Snacks
I have shared my love of HighKey snacks with you before, especially the mini cookies but since then I’ve also tried the cinnamon and almond granola and the Blueberry muffins, and they are both just as yummy! I especially love making a strawberry and yogurt parfaits with the granola!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that Amazon still has gloves in stock! My work actually gave us all gloves, masks and hand sanitizer before we started working from home - so I got lucky with that. ReplyDeleteI'm living in joggers when not in clothes appropriate for work video conferences. I need to check out those snacks. Gloves are certainly good when used properly. I saw two different women on a grocery store trip wearing gloves, touching stuff, then their phones, then putting the phone to their face and talking on it. Yikes. They just defeated the purpose of gloves.
