Oh I love me some pumpkins! Big pumpkins, little pumpkins, fat pumpkins, skinny pumpkins, carved pumpkins, pumpkin in all colors, gourds, can't forget gourds!
Well, you get the jest!
Happy MONDAY, Welcome to Andrea's craft hour....
Well, you get the jest!
Happy MONDAY, Welcome to Andrea's craft hour....
Last year I was so excited to see a lot of thumbtack pumpkin creations! So since my mother's birthday is in the fall, I decided to make her a pumpkin vase with thumbtacks! I created a simple little birthday sign and glued it to a wooden skewer to poke in with the flowers. It turned out beautifully.
In
addition to this gorgeous floral display, I have several more pumpkin
creations to get your creative juices flowing!! Grab your thumbtacks,
glue gun, rhinestones, paint and get your PUMPKIN ON!!!!!
TULLED UP
Simply wrap the pumpkins up in tulle and add some ribbon. You can use black, orange, purple tulle, I just love how easy tulle is to work with.
BOO WITCH
Although I am more of a Fall Harvest decorator, I do like an occasional Halloween decoration and this fits my bill to a tee. I just found the BOO rhinestone embellishment at Michael's on Friday. You can either buy a black plastic witches hat or paint a paper-mache one. Simply tie a ribbon around the hat, add in some picks and put on the BOO sticker. You can use one of the store bought white craft pumpkins or use a real one.
GLITTER GLEAMING
Glue and Glitter is all you need!! Simple use a glue stick or gun for you desired effect and sprinkle with gold glitter or color of your choice. Black looks awesome too. Do this very quickly before the glue dries and have lots of newspaper underneath as it can get messy. You can also get spray glue and cove the whole pumpkin with glitter if you like.
Shake off any excess.
GONE WIRED
See, you knew you'd use that bag of googly eyes for something else. Get in your first aid kit, pull out the gauze, wrap a small pumpkin, glue googly eyes to the gauze and cut a small slit for a mouth. CUTE!!
CANDY CORN CUTIES
Crazy over these candy corm gems. Make sure you get the pear shaped pumpkins/gourds and tape off the center and stem. Spay the top white, bottom yellow and presto: candy corn pumpkins!!
RIBBON DELIGHT
Doesn't get much easier, glue assorted ribbons to the pumpkin and it's a ribbon lovers delight pumpkin.
Ahhhh, PUMPKINS, you make me HAPPY!!!
