No, Marco was not our cabana boy, lol. However, Marco Island sure
did treat us right for Mom's 70th birthday trip. I showed you a couple
snapshots Friday of our great weather and fun but today, it's the whole
Shebang! Really missing that Florida sunshine, especially because eek..we saw the "white stuff" here in Indiana on Sunday. It didn't stick but Big Ole' White snowflakes, it was actually pretty, lol!
Going to break this down into photos of the birthday girl and I,
some Marco Island goodness and the Big Surprise #70cardsquest that many of you
helped make come true!
I can't believe this Tiered Dress from The Loft is still available but it is and at a GREAT Price.
In Petite and Tall too.
And wearing my favorite Kendra Scott Necklace of all time. And my favorite Kendra Scott Earrings from my gal pal Laura

Marco Island and The Resort
The food, the weather, the pools, the beach....all fabulous!!! In fact, I have been to many beaches but this was the whitest, flattest beach I have been on; perfect for waking on and for getting waited on with frozen concoctions by the bar on wheels! We stayed at the JW Marriott and what I am super excited about is that it is very family friendly but they are currently building a huge addition which will be adults only with a roof top bar and rooftop infinity pool over looking the ocean...due to open in Spring 2018. Thinking Nr. Nine and I need to go.
You know I love a good brunch and Sunday on her birthday, we had one of the best brunch buffets I've ever had at a hotel. Jus the mini doughnuts alone were a delight!

Aren't Mom's Beach Pants just the cutest! Man, these Miami Vice frozen drinks were delicious!! My Tankini Top from Target HERE. It's like my leopard one (mom and Tami have it too) from the Naples trip.
Beautiful fountains and toes in the sand.
Quinns Beach Restaurant at the Hotel was Fabulous...yummy fish and chips..

...and a Fire Dancer every night at Sunset.
We Love to walk so we had a nice morning walk down to a restaurant called NeNe's, which was recommended by a friend of mine..do not miss this one for breakfast...eggs benny right up there as one of the best.
Another recommendation was Joey's Italian...oh my YUM!!! We love eggplant and fresh mozzarella and this stacked beauty with balsamic and buttered garlic knots was delicious!
And HAD to split a cannoli
Now, let's talk Birthday swag. Everywhere we went, mom got free stuff. I swear everyone brought her dessert. Yet, the best was this goodness sent to our room courtesy of a beach attendant who was turning 21 the next day. Such a nice spread even if we did wait to drink the champagne til 7am on the day of our return home, lol. No OJ, oh well.
YOU!!
70 Cards for her 70th!
My mom was in utter shock and excitement to see so many cards. How in the world did I do it she asked? Well, I delegated a couple family members and friends to help, sent out a lot of texts and emails and people stepped up to the plate big time with so much love, it amazes my heart and soul!!! Let's talk about you bloggy friends of mine. I mean, the notion that you have never even met my sweet mom, yet took the time to write the sweetest things and shower her with love brought her to happy tears. It made my heart soar with pride because I actually know all of you from our relationships developed because of this awesome existence and you are waaaay more than just a gals who write blogs; your hearts are bigger than the sea and you're made of a special fiber that ties people together whether they have met in person or not.
