FRIDAY FAVORITES...BEACH EDITION

Whoop Whoop, Happy Friday!!! June is going by way to fast!! Unfortunately, it's pouring down rain today. My mom and I were going to go to the beach but instead I'll be home today pricing garage sale stuff for our pre-moving sale next month. This weekend I hope to stop and take it in a little slower with a brunch wedding, day date afternoon with Mr. Nine and the boys all finishing up some landscaping updates on Sunday to get the house ready to sell later this summer. No worries, more beach days are within reach!! Let's get to some favorites and fun!

1. First College Apartment
So, the reason I was off blog land the end of last week was our oldest did a transfer orientation to IU and we went and saw his first college apartment he will be moving into in the Fall. He changed majors to Intelligent Systems Engineering and the IU campus has so much more to offer. Plus, he can walk to the stadium. Tailgate parties at his place, lol

2. Our Niece and her BF
I'm going to brag on our beautiful niece and her sweet boyfriend. They just graduated from Cardinal Ritter in Indianapolis and this Fall, she will be attending Xavier University. He will attend Easter Illinois on a baseball scholarship. Just this past weekend, Blake and his team won state! Our niece was unable to be there and had to listen to the game because she is on a field experience doing lots of fun stuff including......

....Hiking in Colorado!!! Love this girl!

3. Week's Attire
TJ Maxx Dress, Target Cardi, Charming Charlie necklace

Gap top, The Loft Pants, Macy's I.N.C. necklace. Another way to wear this top HERE

The Loft cardi, Target dress and sandals

4. Slouchy Beach Graphic Sweatshirt
I love me a slouchy sweatshirt. The beach town where we go soon and every summer has some cooler evenings so a comfy outfit like this is a must for watching the sunset and hanging our with the fam.

5. Misc. Fun!
Bonomo's Turkish Taffy
I always think of Narnia, ya know, "The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" and the Turkish Delight when I think Taffy. My mom told me about the amazing Taffy from Bonomo's so I bought her a 3lb bag to share with me. Next up I want to try my other favorite flavor: Vanilla!
Buy this Taffy HERE

Jouer Lip Products
I first heard about this company on the Today show and I am blown away by their products and the decent price. I am all about metallics lately and let me tell ya, this stuff is the BEST!! And it smells like a Dum Dum cream soda sucker, which is my favorite sucker!!
My Shade: Metallic Shimmering Rose Gold! Buy this Lip Topper HERE

  1. Your son's apartment is amazing, let me tell you the townhouse Nolan is moving to in the Fall at UF is so old, it reminds me of Melrose Place, lol! Your niece is just adorable, I'll bet you're proud of her. And speaking of adorable, how cute are you in that slouchy sweatshirt, it's sad to admit but I don't even own a sweatshirt. Can you believe that? I wanted to get one from UF last year and never did and then I just forgot. Maybe I'll get a cute one this year! Have the best weekend gorgeous!

  2. That looks like some pretty nice digs where your son will be living. I'd say he's a lucky guy! Ok, that sweatshirt is cute, but the pants are super cute. Perfect lounging outfit for a night at the beach. You are just so darn precious! And you get a gold star for having a garage sale...UGH. We tried that a few times and they were such a flop. I hope you are one of those people who has great success with it. I'm quite sure you probably are. Have a great weekend beautiful friend! XO

  4. Jouer is one of my favorites! I have some of their fall colors and a deep red, but I've been looking for a nude, everyday color so I will check this out! Your son's apartment is so nice! Doesn't even look like college! Perfect for tailgating, too! Happy Friday, Andrea!

  6. That apartment building looks great! I bet he is going to love it and the location too. Your Narnia reference left a smile on my face. I think the girls and I are going to tackle reading the Narnia series through our next school year. I can't wait.

  18. Love that last meme- I believe I should LIVE at the beach! Your son's new apartment is adorable- they didn't have cute places like that when I was in college! It is definitely hard to start over somewhere new, but it is worth it if this new college has exactly what you need for your future. Hope you have a great weekend- sorry you're having to miss out on the beach!

  38. Are turkish taffy's similar to salt water taffies? We eat them by the ton over here. And um....that apartment is insane!! I hope he gets right into the swing of things at his new school. If he inherited any of your personality he will have truckloads of friends by day 1.

  39. I've never heard of Turkish Taffy's!! I wonder what they taste like? I'm assuming they're a very sweet candy?
Love all your outfits - even the totally relaxed one (how I love to be in the evenings lol!).
I hope you have a wonderful friend, gorgeous gal!

  40. Your son's apartment building is so nice. Those were not there when my step-daughter went there over twenty years ago. Southern Living magazine has listed the IU campus as the most beautiful campus in Indiana. I'm sure Purdue and Notre Dame fans will disagree. We used to buy salt water taffy at the State Fair. Is Turkish taffy similar? Your niece is adorable...good family genes...ha! Love the beach shirt... xoxo
