THINGS I'VE GOOGLED THIS WEEK

What did we ever do before Goggle? Encyclopedia Brittanica anyone? I was just telling my teens how the Encyclopedia was the best plethora of information back in the day.  However, Google has changed my life. Sometimes I secretly think I'm the Queen of Goggle or literally own my own PI firm cause I can find anything and it makes me so happy. So it got me thinking just how often I actually Google something and it's like once an hour!!
Here are the 9 of the things I have actually googled this week:

1. Karen Walker Super Duper Sunglasses.
I have admired these on Blair Eadie, only the most famous fashion blogger in the world, who never writes a word, for like....ever. I can't decide if I like the look more or the name "super duper"? I do know that I could buy like 20 pairs at Kohl's in equivalent to these highly overpriced beauties but now that I just said it, I might like saying "How do you like my Highly overpriced Super Duper sunnies?"

2. How Tall are the Property Brothers?
Hubba Hubba, I love it when hubby watches these HGTV geniuses with me. Um Jonathan is 6' 4 1/2"  and so I never even looked up Drew's height. I mean they're twins and totally look the same height on TV, sounds logical.

3. Did Blake and Gwen spend the holidays together?
Yep, sure did, down home in Oklahoma and she even wore camo when they went to Dairy Queen. Super cute.

4. Local Mini Cupcake Shop
Graduation open house coming up...ok 5 months away....but dozens of cupcakes needed....flavor options?

Snickerdoodle or Red Velvet? Duh, both!! Maybe we'll even do 3 flavors, oh my!!

5. Leopard Accent Rugs
Need them, want them, gotta have them but cannot find one I love decently priced. Any ideas?

6. How many calories burned climbing 100 flights of stairs?
There's like this really cool formula. If I can do it in 30 minutes, it's like 385!! Woohoo 2 whole chocolate chip cookies burned!

Work stairs

7. Days of Our Lives Spoilers
After they took my beloved All My Children and One Life To Live off the air, (I cried) I vowed I would never watch another daytime soap again. However, friends introduced me to the town of Salem and I was hooked!! DVR, I love you!! Bye Bye Dr. Dan, what a bummer!

"Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of our Lives"

8. Bathroom Remodels
Gutting and redoing NOT 1 but 2 of our bathrooms this year. It's either that or build a new home. Mmmm....Lots to Google!!! And of course it'll knock out a couple posts ideas! Being a huge HGTV fan, I'm a sucker for before and afters!!

9. Is Han Solo really dead?
Spoiler Alert but I sooooo gotta know! Harrison Ford, I love you!! And until this particular Google, I thought your first name was Hans and not Han!!

  10. Great post, girl! I literally LOL'ed at the Han Solo question. And as for DOOL, I was a fan in the '80's and late '90's. That's when Bo and Hope were the super couple! Speaking of soaps, I thought I ready where All My Children was making another run?

  16. Fun post!!! I used to watch Days of Our Lives all of the time when I was younger. And I also totally used the encyclopedia for reports. Love the Property Brothers too! Since I'm a twin myself I love watching them together. My sister and I are fraternal twins, but she is 3 inches taller than me. Drew looks a tiny bit shorter though! :-) Anyways.. hope that you had a lovely weekend and have a great day today! :-)

  20. I sometimes miss encyclopedias, but they were so expensive and now we have all this information at our fingertips for free. It's amazing that any random thought that pops into our heads now we can get an immediate answer! And YES to always taking the stairs, great exercise and elevators creep me out :-P

  32. I am like you, googling something at lease on the hour every day. What would I have done had I had google in school??? The world is these kids oyster these days! So spoiled with technology. Though I gotta admit that there is something about cracking open a 5 lb encyclopedia that is a right of passage for doing a research paper!

Love this post idea!! I am trying to think what I have googled lately. Hmmmm I googled what a wheel bearrings noise sounds like in a car, gifs for my confessions posts and a whole lot of whole 30 questions this week!
