FRIDAY FAVORITES.....I LOVE MOM EDITION

Happy Friday sweet friends! Can you believe it’s already Mother’s Day weekend. We have a brunch planned for Sunday and I’m so excited to get my Mimosa. It’s been another busy week with crazy Indiana weather, currently storm and frost predictions of course but we’ve kept busy and I’ve done everything from Cinco de Mayo to fishing to hanging all kinds of outdoor lights to tagging garage sale items for my big sale next week.

1. Day with the BOYS

Saturday was such a fun day with our two college boys. It was the first time we had all been together since Christmas. We saw the Avengers movie in 3-D which by the way, I will never see a 3-D movie again, I just don’t like them but it was the only tickets we could get. And a couple of my boys may have fell asleep at times behind their 3-D glasses, LOL! We enjoyed what we call a Linner, late lunch, early dinner at one of our favorite new restaurants. It was a fun day! AND They both have landed Summer Jobs!

2. Vital Proteins

I was so excited to get my box of vital proteins! I have really been wanting to start taking them regularly. I’ve been putting the Unflavored Peptides in my coffee which is perfect and the Matcha is so delicious. The little Vital Proteins Shots are strawberry lemon flavor and so good chilled for a quick pick me up. I highly recommend these collagen peptides! I am so excited to hopefully truly see a difference in my skin and hopefully emit a radiant glow, LOL!

3. Target Try-On

Instead of doing the weeks attire, I’m going to show you a few of the things that came home with me from my Target try on session Wednesday. And speaking of Target, I was so excited they tweeted me that they were obsessed with my Mamacita Dress and want to share it. Thank you Target! I am obsessed with you!

I think this top will take me through all seasons, it’s thin but a great plaid they can go into fall as well. And aren’t you just loving the Cut Off Shorts. They are not too short, and the fraying is perfect.

4. Fiesta Pom Pom Top

This was the darling fiesta Pom Pom Top I wore for Cinco de Mayo. The embroidery on it is so nice and I just love the bright colors. The yellow earrings were the ultimate choice to go with. I think it would look so cute this summer with white shorts and jeans shorts and maybe some bright sandals. You cannot beat the price is under $23! It’s soooo cute! And I ordered this One too.

So, I shared with you on my Instagram story some of the cute Cinco de Mayo decorations I got at Hobby Lobby for last Sunday. My favorites are these alpaca plates! Everyone just love them!

Super excited to share brunch with my favorite lady in the whole wide world on Sunday! We sure do like to toast. I think because we both have a zest for life, both have great taste, love to laugh, love to make people happy and have so much fun! I know there are a lot of you out there that love my mom and it’s for good reason because she is the absolute sweetest, stylish and precious lady on the planet to me! Happy Mother’s Day to all you precious ladies out there. 

I know this is not an easy day for some but know that no matter what, you are loved and appreciated!
