Happy first Friday of 2019! Wait, is it Friday? Been a whirlwind of a couple weeks. The boys go back this weekend I think for me, Monday is when things will really get back to normal. The last of the trees gets put away this weekend and tonight we’re having a nice family dinner out at Ruth Chris. Wishing you all a wonderful first weekend of January. Stay snuggly and have a great one! Oh and I'm Linking this up with AGELESS STYLE because if you read on you'll see my new favorite Faux Fur Vest!
1. Family Festive Fun
I was very immersed in the holiday moments and took very few pictures. These are three of my favorites that captured the time well. From the boys asking for Mimosa’s to a lot of clinked glasses and cheers to my mom intently playing giant Jenga, one of our new games.
2. Giant Jenga
BUY GIANT JENGA HERE
Speaking of giant Jenga, you may remember we all played it this summer on our family vacation. Here’s a collage of the fun we had. Anyway, Mr. Nine thought it would be a great addition to our family games repertoire. We can’t wait to put it out on a table by the pool this summer and play outside. It comes with its own carrying case and of course it’s Amazon Prime!

Really loving all the fuzzy vest options. And of course, I wanted to snag this one with it being Leopard, a drappy fit and packets! I’ll show you another way I styled it later. For this outfit, it was perfect over my hunter green cowl neck dress. I like paring a solid color winter dress with the same color of tights.

Baby Shower
I am invited to a baby shower this weekend. For a sweet little baby girl. It’s been so fun to buy some itty bitty baby girl things. How cute is this palm beanie hat and mittens set!
I bought her 4 outfits too but this buffalo plaid dress was my favorite! Imagine with a little black cardigan or fuzzy coat!

That giant jenga looks like a blast. It is kind of sad to see the holidays go. We are dragging our feet on taking the tree down, I love turning on the lights in the morning. Maybe it should be on our weekend agenda though. Have a fabulous weekend <3
ReplyDeleteDo I spy a charcuterie board I spy in the picture with the mimosas? You most definitely had a fun and festive holiday my friend! Enjoy this final weekend with all your loves under one roof. My boys leave Saturday night, ugh. Love your leopard vest, I bought a similar one (not leopard though) from Poshmark. Love you sweet friend!

ReplyDeleteI feel the same and we didn't take many pictures either. We have some friends in MN who built a "life size" Jenga...I'm talking like 6' tall. It's a hoot and you have to hope the thing doesn't fall on you or you might get a concussion. They guy who built it is what else? An engineer. LOL!!!! Happy weekend and cheers to life calming down. Love ya'!!! XOXO
