Welcome to the main
level powder bath reveal. A few weeks ago, I brought you the Glam Bath Reveal. I am so eclectic in tastes that if you come to our
house, and I hope you do, you’ll find everything from modern, to craftsman, to coastal to glam and
farmhouse. I like mixing in so many different design pieces. This is the
smallest room in the house but packs a punch with the fabulous wave wall. It
did create a challenge for picture taking but I captured it best I could for
ya.
One of the first accents
I knew I wanted in the new house was the wave wall. Needless to say, in our
little Midwest area, there are not many of these and it took the contractors a
little while to figure this puppy out. Our fanciest restaurant in the area has
one of these so we were lucky enough to get the guy, shout out to Steve, who
worked on it. However, these were different materials so poor guy said it was
quite challenging. We are grateful and love it.
My mom got us this
awesome Pier One Floor Vase as a house warming gift. She just knew it would be
perfect for this angled spot in the bathroom and it’s awesome. I found this fun
black and silver filler bunch at Hobby Lobby to complete it.
With the modern feel of this room, I knew I wanted the vanity to be raised and a vessel sink of some sort with a modern water spout. This sink was the first thing we saw when we walked in the showroom and I was like, yep, put that one down for the powder room.
I wasn't going to really add color to this room but when I found
the soap/lotion caddy and towel at TJ Maxx, I was like, yes, a little aqua is
the perfect punch. This canvas tied the color together and was only $20 at of
all places, our local Meijer but it is available at Wayfair.
Still not quite sure how
we wound if with so many different bathrooms. I chuckle at myself because the
first things I moved in were toilet paper rolls placed in each bath. You’re
welcome Charmin.

Well, AMAZEBALLS!!! comes to mind. That basin is incredible, and your mum's statement vase is the perfect mate for it. Your wall is truly a Wonder Wall. But most of all, I like your restrained use of aqua. Well done, Mrs B! Hugs, x.

Your wave wall is very cool! I love how you knew what you wanted as soon as you saw it and what a great deal you got on that picture! As funny as this may sound, I really love that new, sleek toilet design - the base looks like it would be so much easier to clean. I feel like the older style toilets are so challenging when it comes to cleaning! Love your eclectic style my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a wonderful day in that beautiful dream home!!!
