ALL AMERICAN GIRL & LINK-UP

 "She was an American Girl!" Just love that song by Tom Petty. I always wished I was Italian, from a country in the Swiss Alps or Canadian after traveling to Canada and meeting my brilliant Canadian friends. However, truth be told I'm pretty happy to be a citizen of the land of the free. If I'm being super honest, the pride swells in me the older I get but that could also be due to the growth in my love of all things red, white and blue. I find myself pondering the idea to wear all things Stars and Stripes during our July beach vacation and after getting yet another Americana piece with this darling straw flag tote, I said "whoa," that's enough patriotism wear, lol. Or maybe not.

I thought it'd be fun to get some style or stars and stripes inspiration for the biggest day in the year for the land of cotton and corn!!

While I will for sure be donning some stars on my clothing in the next couple weeks, What I love about this outfit is that each piece can be worn with so many different things. 

The new piece in this ensemble is this cute as a button red cross front ruffle sleeve top. Perfect with just some white jeans and blue wedges. Throw in the purse and a trio of red, white and blue bead bracelets and I'm ready to wave the flag at the parade and watch some fireworks over the lake.
