EASTER DECOR....HOP ON OVER

Isn't it great that Easter is a little later this year, in mid April? I always hope that means that the weather can be beautiful for little egg hunters and wearing beautiful dresses sans tights. So, I was never much of an Easter decorator but every year I pull out the special basket from my great grandmother. The bunny and eggs are even knitted as well. For several years I had it gracing the office at work around this time but decided to bring it home as my mom found this picture of her and I when I was 10 years old and my first year with the precious basket.

Several decades later, still in tact.

It prompted me to "Easter Up" the house a little and I absolutely loved shopping for these beautiful pastel colors this year and love how the Easter Decor turned out. The nice thing is we get to enjoy it a lot longer since Easter this year does not "Spring" up on us in March.

Just LOVE this moss on grapevine bunny from Hobby Lobby

The Mantle makes me so happy to look at.

 Carrot Cuties

The nest is from Hobby Lobby and sign and Bunny Glass candle holders from TJ Maxx

The Butterfly from the Dollar Tree, Big Eggs from Kroger's, topiary from Hobby Lobby and egg Plate and laser cut egg from TJ Maxx.

A Simple tablescape that screams "Spring!"

The Green Vases are from The Dollar Store

Pier One at the top of it's game lately

How Precious is she from Michael's!!

How Cute is this sign from Michaels

That Easter Bunny is going o be a snow Bunny today....5" of snow predicted here.
HAPPY MONDAY SWEET PEEPS!!

xoxo

  14. Your mantle and tablescape look ah-mazing, Andrea! I wish I could get motivated to do mine and I was seriously contemplating it this weekend while I was snoozing on the couch, but I think I got rid of all my Easter things a few years ago. Why, I have no idea?! I guess it was a blonde moment, ha! I always had and Easter basket, too. My mom even started including Wayne after we got married and then something happened when Baby Girl came along and she started getting all the goodies! It is a wonderful tradition that I still do with my girls! Have a wonderful Monday!

  18. Your mantle is Easter perfection!!!! So pretty!!!!! I love love love the picture with your Easter basket then and now. I literally just talked about that this week with Chris as I ordered Zoe's basket. I put so much emphasis on it because I want her to have it every single year for Easter so I ordered something that is pretty for now...but one she can appreciate as she gets older too. I just want something special to have as a tradition every single year and your pictures prove why!

Hope you are having a great one!
