ASIAN CHICKEN SOFT TACOS

Hello taco lovers!! Rejoice!! Do I have a recipe for you. These have quickly become my husband and son's favorite tacos and not only are they bursting with flavor, but I'm bursting to share this recipe with you. The ground chicken portion is actually the same recipe I created for the Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps but something about this mix in a soft taco shell is heavenly. Plus they are healthy with the lean ground chicken and slaw mix. I also like to use a whole wheat or high fiber soft shell. Yum

What you'll need

ASIAN CHICKEN SOFT TACOS

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 TBS rice wine vinegar
4 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
3 TBS brown sugar
1 TBS olive oil
1/2 cup minced sweet onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 pound ground chicken
1 teaspoons red pepper flakes or 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Bag complete Asian Slaw or salad mix
Soft Taco Shells
Asian Dressing I prefer Paul Newman Lite Sesame Ginger

 DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl or mixing cup combine soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar, sesame oil and brown sugar, mix well. Set aside.  In a large pot heat the oil over medium high heat. Add in the onions and garlic and saute for 3 minutes, stirring often.  Add in the ground chicken saute until chicken is only partially pink about 3-4 minutes.  Pour in the sauce mixture in and stir well. Add in the red pepper flakes or black pepper. Assemble tacos when ready with chicken mixture, slaw mix and almond/wonton mixture that comes with it and top with the dressing.

Such a satisfying meal

Happy Tasty Tuesday!
