FRIDAY FAVORITES....The 5 B's

Oh yeah, this has been vacation week at the beach my friends and it has been glorious. It's the thing I look forward to the most each and every Summer. My husband and our 3 sons travel North to a place on Lake Michigan and it is truly our most favorite town in the whole world. The minute you drive into town, all stress melts away. I often think what it will be like many summers from now when the boys start bringing their families. I Savor every Summer and know even when it is no longer just the 5 of us, it will continue to be amazing, relaxing and no place I'd rather be.

Here are 5 of my favorites from our annual Summer Vacation in the town we call our Home away from Home. I'm sad to be leaving already.

1. BEACH
This Beach is fantastic. Very private and the best relaxation you'll find everywhere. We always go down around 10am and get our own little spot. The boys go out paddle or skim-boarding, my husband kayaking, and I do this:

2. BUN
You all know I wear a bun a lot, but I really love one on vacation. I do a
lower one under a fedora too. I am crushing on this one below.

3. BICYCLING
We decided to rent bikes this year but there is the best path up here and I love going for bike rides especially when I can fill my basket. There is a farmers market in a nearby town on Thursdays so I can fill it with greens and berries!

4. BOYS
My husband & our sons are so precious to me. While my husband & I love going on vacation just the two of us, it is so great for the 5 of us to be together. Especially, because these days it doesn't happen too much with 3 busy teens. They bring us so much laughter and joy and vacation with them is Always an Adventure

5. BAKERY
Trust me when I say this is the BEST Bakery I have ever been too. It is so fresh, so yummy and their doughnuts and bagels are to die for. Seriously, did I say the BEST? Since I do not eat doughnuts very often, I look forward to walking down there and grabbing a morning latte better then Starbucks and loading up on carbs to take back to the crew. They also have the yummiest breads, homemade granola, breakfast paninis and lunches with sandwiches like the

So you know what I am off to do now, right?
Crescent Bakery run....well after my actual run to justify this glorious indulgence!!

Happy Happy Weekend, Beauties. Enjoy and Indulge!!!
